For example, if I use up arrow, left arrow, z (rotate turret), and then try to spacebar, my keyboard won't let me shoot.

This phenomenon is termed as "Keyboard Ghosting". It means your keyboard has a configuration or is built in a sense that it can't support to activate more than 3 keys or more pressed at once. The same happened in my laptop, when using arrow keys, I can move my turret but on the other hand, can't shoot at the same time i.e. when I press my Arrow keys simultaneously with "X and Z " keys, the space bar doesn't work, and the game won't let me shoot enemies.

I searched a lot about it and there are mainly 2 solutions to fix this:

1. Either get a good or high configuration keyboard which does not supports Ghosting meaning an "Anti-ghost Keyboard". The ones that are usually used for Gaming purposes.

2. The first option was out of bounds for me, so I had to go with this one which is "Try to change your key-set" meaning changing the keys for controlling the tank in the settings option.

Just to let you know and give you an example, I changed my keyboard set from "Arrow Keys, X & Z keys and Space bar" to "I,J,K,L for moving, X & Z to shoot, space bar". It feels a bit weird to control at first, but when you play around for quite a while, you will get used to it and bring even better results with the new key-set.

Nice that both of you are using arrow keys like me. In my old laptop I had a similar problem, when I move forward and shoot I can't move to the left, so when I want to rotate my tank I have to stop shooting to turn left, or I just move backwards which doesn't have the problem. Now in my new laptop, I have a minor ghosting key problem, which prevent me from clicking number 3 or Q, sometimes, so I had to change my arrow set to O,K,L,: and the problem still happen sometimes. It have a real effect when I try to play with Railgun, you want to use the DD in the shot delay time.

Definitely it's not an easy or practical thing to buy a new keyboard over my laptop keyboard.

I don't have anything to add that's already been said, except for that changing play habits also helps when your keyboard is ghosting. You don't need to get a new computer or even change keybinds. On my old laptop, if I was shooting and driving forward, I couldn't turn left but I could turn right. Since I was a Firebird main at the time, and you need to always be able to turn to face your enemy, this was definitely not a good thing. I later found that I could turn in both directions if I drove backwards. As a result I would always drive around with the back of my Hunter facing towards my enemy (which I guess looked a little funny)
