But many players won't agree with me, so needed some explanation as how I could be so crazy as to think the current challenge/battle pass system is much improved, and why I'm glad skin container is no longer in the battle pass. If you want to discover how someone could arrive at such controversial opinions, brave the text wall ?

Kind of moot.

Used to be if you wanted advantage you needed lots of crystals to upgrade fast and get ahead.

Fast-forward to todays game where crystals... really don't do as much as they used to.  In order to compete/get-ahead you need the items crystals won't buy.  All those ultra-rare augments, armadillo and 4th slot.

They've just moved the goal-posts - it's an illusion.  Just like when they gave everyone lots of supplies... but then introduced Drones.

Why you ask? Back when the pass was 500 tankoins, it was too cheap for what it offered. 700 is a fair compromise, we don't want the most powerful augments becoming even more common than they are now - I think the current price is a fair compromise. The battle pass is one of the best value things you can spend tankoins on as a free player.

Now why do I agree with the skin container being removed from the battle pass? Well first of all, it was making skins too common. If skins are too common, they are much less exciting or much less valuable if you are able to obtain them - they need to be kept somewhat rare. You CAN still get skins if you open many containers/free Ultras - I generally tend to land them every so often from regular or Ultra containers between my main and alt accounts - for instance my main account got Dictator XT from a shard container, and Hopper XT from an Ultra Container obtained from special missions.

From the other side of things, skins are one of the best things that Tanki sells, because they are a valuable cosmetic item - they allow the game to make money WITHOUT selling pay-to-win items, which actually affect game balance. From that perspective - the more money Tanki can make from cosmetic items such as skins (instead of actual pay-to-win equipment, instead), the better for free players/light buyers, and the better for game balance. So lets keep skins rare, please, and valuable - and the developers can try to make money off that rather than items that will actually affect balance.

Now what about the augments change? Well that one I am not so sure about, I did like the old system with augments locked to different ranks, and some of them being cheaper. However, we are now able to obtain augments from containers (if you get lucky), from challenges (even the silver tier), and in addition to that player crystal income has increased a LOT from what it used to be. The new weekly container, and the new challenge format has raised low rank income considerably, as well as the regular Ultra weekends, plus the same is true slightly for Legend ranked players - but they also benefit a lot from the regular increased exp/crystals. The increased xp is very bad for low ranked players admittedly, for Legends however it works out well.

So augments are more expensive, but we also have more ways to obtain them, plus a much larger income than we used to have. Hard to say whether I like or dislike the current system. but personally I am doing OK on my main an alt accounts as a free player regarding augments - so I don't have a huge problem with it.

There are problems with the game, but those are definitely not the areas which I would be complaining about. Challenges/Battle pass etc. are in pretty good shape, one of the good changes in recent times.

700 tankoins that becomes 600 if you got 49 level completed ?

They could've at least made a better compensation for the removal of skin container than just slapping on a nuclear supply. Like perhaps giving out at least 5 ultra containers for gold tier, and 1 ultra container for silver tier.

I think there will be hot news ngl, cause if they didn't release vlog since 2 weeks it's because firstly it's Christmas and also they gonna try to release hot updates and fix bugs and after the Christmas time will be gone, they will be ready to announce their hots updates plan

The new announcement for Ultras week end should be available in one hour, lets hope that there won't be a stupid score mission such as 9k score in TJR or TDM. I hope there will be some exciting news about the game which wont make it monotonous.

Looking at the past Missions, I guess for any Ultra Weekend, there is either a mission to get "Top 3 in Winning Team" once and get 9k score in a specific mode (could be any).

But again, we can't be sure of anything till official announcements get published.

Bro you are hoping for good missions and I'm hoping that I spawn in MM battles so that I could complete the given missions?

Today, I am going to play Tanki Online without any sound because my parents are busy with an invited person. That means that starting from tomorrow, I will play Tanki Online normally with sound.

Okay, well this new patch changes things a lot. The amount of supplies/crystals available to players is now drastically reduced, and the value of the battle pass is greatly decreased. Will reserve judgement until tomorrow, but this doesn't look good. With these container changes, either battle pass rewards need to be buffed, or the price needs to be reduced.

Might be a good idea, ye. With these container changes, the battle pass certainly needs some kind of buff now.
