Yeah, when I wrote that post I thought you can see it from everywhere, so my opinion of this idea was a bit off.

Would be very useless in CP.. Because the range of the dot connections is just a small, and the time for filling it is very fast.  And it may have a usages in Siege as the range is larger so some enemies may lie under the bridge which the indicator my help here. But still very useless

You can "see" them filling up real-time by the icon on your screen.

Between the mini-map, icons, and actual visual confirmation I don't see this as all that useful in CP.

And in Siege, would spoil the "sneak" capture that happens under bridges.

This is similar to knowing where the ball and flag is at all times.  Unecessary.
