Mission Doesn't count ?!

Subject: Christmas special mission ( Complete mission in winning team 1 times )

So I am noticing since 2 days whenever I complete mission first time and my team won it doesn't count. When I complete 2nd time it counts? any idea

They said it when presenting those missions and they continue to say it in almost every vlog

The fact that you must visit the special missions tab before completing these missions, otherwise you won't gain progress, is a bug that should have been fixed a long time ago. And if it isn't a bug, I see no reason for this "feature" to exist - surely it would take the developers less time to fix this than to keep repeating that you must visit the special missions tab first with every announcement, and then we wouldn't also have to keep explaining this to confused players. And it ISN'T explained in-game, nor was it explained in the "Festive season" topic - so very understandable that players won't know. Many players will only see the in-game announcements, and may not have been playing when this kind of thing was ever talked about.

And players are losing rewards from this. Here is yet another confused player who lost rewards from the snowman mission:
 

About time that the developers fixed this issue.
