We temporarily disabled the option to purchase Stars in the Shop till February 14th, 2 AM UTC.

 

YouTuber battle

 

We have been informed that some players are going to intervene during the course of the «YouTuber battle» event using a fraudulent way to obtain stars.

To prevent that, we temporarily disable the option to purchase Stars in the Shop till the end of the event.

You still have a few days to support your favorite YouTuber by purchasing a themed special offer and earning stars.

Earn stars for playing in battles and completing missions — get rewards for your efforts.

Challenge

 

Important news for players who want to complete the Challenge. It will be prolonged till February 16th, 2 AM UTC and in case you do not have enough stars to reach the final tier, you will be able to purchase needed stars starting from February 14th, 2 AM UTC, before the Challenge ends.

Thus the second Challenge of the month will last from February 16th, 2 AM UTC, till March 1st, 2 AM UTC. Please note: there are 28 days in February this year.

 

Unfortunately, we have to resort to such measures but we find it the optimum decision in this situation. Thank you for your understanding.

This just means that people who want to sabotage the event will still be able to do so by buying top 1 Youtuber paint on 100 accounts and purchasing only ~300 stars after 14th Feb

Should of done this from the start to stop buyers not having to play for rewards and ruining the average with mult accounts on other teams
These changes don't even do anything with you can still get 300 stars just by completing daily missions for two days after buying the bundle

Sucks for the people who were relying on purchasing a star bundle to complete the challenge. 
I would let people obtain the stars fraudulently then remove their process from the event and punish them accordingly.

You will still be able to buy stars to complete the challenge from february 14th -16th :

well, they can still buy the stars for challenge but not for the battle anymore... cuz the challenge now ends 2 days after the battle ends. but can any1 explain me what the difference now is? winner pickers can still on one of the last days choose their team and easily earn 300 stars, and therefore lowering the average of that youtuber. so imo the problem is still not fixed

also, they should eliminate the purchase of offers to choose a youtuber, especially because I'm afraid that many players will buy a paint at the last minute and lower the score of a youtuber

luckily people like u couldnt buy, cuz then the average of that youtuber would go down unfairly fast, which could mean that eg jumper wouldnt win even though the distance is rly big now...

really .. when you stated in your you-tuber posting that players who purchased stars , "Important: Stars that you purchase are also counted. "

so now your taking away our rights as buyers to not be allowed to pay money into a game which is needing it for logistic reasons..

so unfair .. what next remove our star counts for buyers who purchased stars in the event. Oh wait you  didn't read that from me it's my  inter tanki voice posting ..

I just thought of a different solution for the late-pickers problem.

The special youtube war page should not be updated for the last two days.

That is it. Paints can stay in the shop while picking the winner becomes practically impossible.

in past contests we were given a time line to purchase special event paints / which this event should have also done . then there would not be having issues with players raising the team scores .

Me too... I purchased the 990-tankoin bundle only because I could purchase 1000 stars from the shop to reach 5000 stars. I only want to get the skin. But now, nope. And my 990 tankions are wasted.

sir how would that apply to this event ? seeing the company did give us ( players ) the opportunity to purchase stars. 

it's up to each individual player there rights to purchase if they wanted too or not.

regarding the paints there should have been a limited (of 5 day) time in place for players to join when buying a paint for a team. then the  paints should have been removed .

( just an Idea ) if tanki wanted to restricted the stars then maybe it should have either limited the amount you can purchase during the event or lowering the amount of stars that could been purchased from the shop.. example 300 stars should have been reduced to 150 for the same cost // and removing the larger amounts .. or allowed players to purchase a package deal with a one time allowed event purchase. and not allowing players to buy more stars afterwards from the shop.. I hope you understand my gibberish
