What do most people use Tankoins for?

As it is a more valuable currency, I was wondering what other people use it for.

I am thinking about getting the Battlepass for this month's challenge because one of the Gold tier rewards is "Armor-Piercing Salvo" for Gauss and Gauss is my main turret. I have like 800 Tankoins and there aren't really anything else that I can imagine spending it on... besides the 3rd slot for protection modules for 500 Tankoins, but I can live without them, I really don't care about having protection that much. But having armor piercing for my Gauss would be amazing. 

Should I buy this months Battlepass?

If Gauss is your main turret, then the current battle pass is a very good option. Generally Battle pass is one of the best value items you can get for your tankoins. The only other contender, IMO, would be a Tanki fund event entry, cost of which was 1000tks last time, and you could get your 3rd and 4th protection slot for that price + some containers. The next tanki fund should be held with the finals of the Esport tournament, which, as we know, has been postponed for now and therefore it is impossible to say when it will take place exactly.

All in all, I think you won´t regret your choice if you decide to buy the current battle pass.

I actually use it for the Battle Passes solely, as the content now is very much. As for UCs and normal containers, you can get some from daily missions and special missions.

I can get BPs and coinboxes from YTer program if I want them so I save for bundles usually.  Saved TKs for over 6 months to finally get a 300 UC bundle and was whole heartedly disappointed.  Not a single augment in the entire batch, just a paint and 1m crystals which I have no use for.

I was thinking for a while now that tanki should guarantee some good rewards per x containers, like it´s the case in some other games, so this does not happen.

buy 2 then 3 module slots for 550. the 4th slot is 5000 which is insane for f2p players

How did you save 20000 tks in 6 months? Daily tk pass?

most likely the new year missions' reward offered 2k tk (and with some other events that gave 300 twice)

It’s not possible without buying - I’ve been saving since the eSports fund and don’t have anywhere close to that many tks (I have 4000 tk rn, some of which came from events like best artworks of the month)

I buy all battle passes, sometimes the 1990tk bundles and any other good, cheap bundles, I often spend a lot on buying UCs when there's a 50% discount on them (which is pretty much just black friday). Sometimes buy 30 coinboxes just to see how bad they can get

But right now I'm saving up for a potential new update that might add new unlockable items, similar to protection slots. This is total speculation on my part, but I suspect that the mid-game garage changing feature will be replaced by something tankoin-based, and there might also be a second hull augment slot or something.

I got 8k tankoins in one of the eSport funds and 2 tankoin passes and part of a third tankoin pass plus weekly containers.

If you are free player like me, although i saved 4400 coins bow;

dont buy module slot, wait yearly event when you can get all 4 slot for 990 coins;

dont buy containers or ultra container or coinbox; you never buy luck. And tanki nowadays gove you 4-5 container per day for mission, and 360 ultra containers average total per year; you get enough of them

dont buy battle pass just because other buy; in the end you may never use because that not your main turret;

be clear of what you use most and what you need most; like me i know i need titan AP immu for survive under dome against other AP; or if you use vulcan, wait for heat inmu for your favourite hull;

save coins; so you have when you really need the battle pass or event or pass

i saved 4400 coins, because i already got immu for my need and augment for my need from challenge and containers; if that immu is no use to you dont waste, as it take 1 year to save 3300 coin if there is no free coin like new year ones

 

since now you can get skin in challenge, maybe also wait for your fav skin come out, if you are in the end game

i stil did not get the mechanich of that fund event stuff . Is it like a "betting"? CAuse i missed the last one thinking it was something similar ( and cant get into forum much due to limited timke ), thinking that i would have made the "wrong bet" losing tcoins by doing that  ..
I would really like a slot but i guess i will never manage to take it for full.

I get how it can be confusing if you're not paying much attention to such events, I'll try to explain how it worked last time.

So basically, to participate, you had to buy at least one of the 3 special bundles (cheapest one being 990tks). For each bundle bought, the fund had been risen. Then there were multiple milestones to reach (1m, 2m,3m... Tks total) with different rewards. Once certain milestone was reached, everyone participating received the reward.

There was also a giveaway + a guessing game held, but those were really beside the point, merely a bonus tks/containers you could win if you were lucky, but the main prize was still awarded to everyone who bought the bundle.

Yeah, just wasted 300 tankoins a week or two ago on coinboxes and learned the hard way.

Battlepass is the best way to spend tankoins imo.
