Self-destruct when the battle begins

No, I'm not talking about a game bug! What I'm talking about is preparing a match before it starts, to explain more:

After adding a timing system before the start of a battle (before placing flags and launching a ball...), we noticed that there are some players who go to the opponents' area and stop at the flag area or wait for the Juggernaut to destroy it!.

Here comes my idea: When the standby time runs out, When dots, flags, or ball are opened or a juggernaut is placed (all modes) all players are automatically destroyed!, which will get everyone ready to start without anyone taking the flag or destroying them. (Owners of melee weapons and close range who attack from the start)

The idea is quite clear! When a match starts, all players are destroyed wherever they are.

I have two concerns with this suggestion:

 

1) It'd be unfair for those that don't try to get an early advantage during the delay to suddenly get self destructed.

2) With everyone self destructing, I'd imagine the ping to be quite high. Some players have devices that wont be able to keep up, so they may either get disconnected or crash.

 

I think a much better solution would be to self destruct the players that aren't in their own teams base.

Not sure how 1) is relevant...  unfair in what way?  Everyone respawns.  The "false start" is just there to make sure teams start off even.  That's it.

Why waste time to implement self destructing when you can just set it up to not start the match yet until everyone joins? On the other hand, I think this can have some flaws too.

Ok, maybe not completely unfair. Just slightly unfair. But still, some people might see it as punishment for not doing anything wrong, all they really did was load in and haven't strayed away from their teams base.

If anything, I think just the strays should be forced to respawn. But true, the slight unfairness isn't much of a big deal. Main reason I'm not for the forced respawn is because of potentially high ping it may cause.
