That’s the thing, the devs are trying to entice the players who spend a decent amount, such as those who regularly buy the battle pass or Tankoins pass, to go all out for the new OP gimmick.

The mega buyers will get the best rewards anyway, which is why they created this broken augment to attract the next tier of buyer to pay just that little bit more for the fourth checkpoint.

The devs seem to love this gambling form of mini-game as it encourages more spending and if you get pushed back then, well, it’s just “bad luck”.

To me it seems like another desparate attempt to milk the players who are still willing to spend copious amounts of cash. Calling the game in its current state a sinking ship is a bad analogy, it’s more akin to a plane at 20000 feet that’s lost one of its engines and is slowly losing altitude and wobbling along until the inevitable crash.

Earlier today, we met a 9999 gears tryharder with rico paladin and pulsar, in his team he had 4-5 9k gears too, we were against them in group of 4 9999 gears and he dominated the whole battle, luckily, the last minute we capped all the 3 points (it was polygon cp) and his team played badly the last minute and we won xD

wait but a plane can fly almost perfectly well without one engine right?

tbh I'd recommend all players that don't grind golds to completely stop grinding daily/special missions after they reach 3rd island, you'll just be wasting your time. unless the game creates more fuel missions which is very unlikely. for the buyers, it's not a great risk either... watch as alternativa makes those p2w rico augments ultra container exclusive and eventually add them in battle passes to extract the most revenue out of players

It can glide for a while, sure, but it won’t take you very far. At least with passenger planes that’s how it is.

And this is where the age of the player becomes a factor in this. The younger the player, the more gullible they might be, meaning the more likely they'll want to buy some of this stuff.

I actually find it is the opposite.

You are correct though that the “desire factor” and gullibility is greater with younger players, such as pre-teen children. However they lack their own funds.

Usually the ones spending thousands of bucks each event are adults, surprisingly enough. I imagine that a lot of wealthy, bored, middle-aged Russian men are the ones who the F2P are typically up against.

Well, we also got those whose parents will just give their child their credit card or put it in themselves just so they don't have to deal with the tantrums of their kid. Other parents just can't seem to put their foot down.

@numericable I am with you on this. So far I have rolled only 1s and am on step 15. Throw in the fact I had to go back 1 due to nuclear radiation and it is a bit frustrating. That is a lot of "rolls" to get only 1s. I may complete all of the special missions and not get close to the 3rd checkpoint.

i think the chance to get +2 and +3 is rare and may be trigged if you make many turns in a single session i think...

I took 6 turns in a session and got 1s on every one of them. I figured that was the only option until I saw 2s and 3s were possible. Now I am just frustrated.

According to a small sample of data, it appears the chance to roll 1 could be 80%, for 2 15% and for 3 5%. Even if these numbers are incorrect, it's certainly rare, however, keep in mind, you'll move x2 or x3 further in one step. You can obviously get unlucky and barely ever roll anything but 1.

Yeah, I took turns and rolled the dice at different times to analyze this, if I am rolling every day, for let's say 7 days straight and 1 move per day, only "+1" is obtained every time, whereas when I rolled the dice 7 times back to back, it gave me a "+2" along with a "+3".

Spot on. 1- There are 2 dices which is GROSSLY misleading, (fav developer ploy) so at the least you should roll a 2.

                2-The chances of rolling any number between 1-6 (because we have established that only 1 die is being used) should be EQUAL.

               3-Whatever algorithm is being used has been "FIXED" by the developers (basically there cheats)

It's a  5000tk thing so in all fairness at least that much it's worthy , if is not $$ to spend for it ,then   is your time...  it's a trade .

Some tricks:;
like staying in the team with  all 9999 and getting the win spot  , staying in the loser team but being in the first 3 .. little things there and there and you'l get it  , and i was back at 3 once i got at 14 , so yes anyone can  with a bit of patient .Leave lost battles ( like joining a battle where your team is already 0-6 and you just joined )  , and so on

I have that new rico from the contest and yes its op but the chance of landing a crit hit is very random. Paladin and Mammy with their OD will protect you against the hits till it wears off and using a repair kit will help also.

It’s weird. I did 6 turns yesterday on my alt and tonight on my main thanks to a special mission, dailies, and leftover energy. On my alt, all but one or two were +2, and on my main only one was +2.

btwe,i'm noticing far and far lack of skill in players thatns to those things , legends rising in number that ends as terrible teammates, not enjoiable at all. ( people in the way , mongoiong camping, people in the way like i said but in a mongo way , lack of turret moving skill helped by those sheeets  so no willing to improve, and mongo people in the way that disrupt your own playing -in a frustrating way -)

imo helios with crisis is far more op, you might have reaally good reaction to even press med kit, thats 7 balls in less than a second
