That is quite low...or "EVERyone"  , or nobody  . 
 Erase the progress made  by the bug/mistake , like they already had .. and compensate by premium day  for that  ..

@Marcus hello,Do you still take back the prizes that were redeemed from the energy left over from the last event? Some people have already gotten DC and RT skins, what will happen to those skins?And a community admin said DC skins for wasp and smoky will be added to future challenges, is this true?

not sure why its taking so long to load .

Also first battle on Evil-Woman would not record my kills - it did add on the rest. it seems to be back to having to refresh the page when this happens.

4th  slot stay as maximum available ? Just to know if we will face 9999 with 5 slots which means "immediately  leave" ,lol

Checkpoint 4 - 860-880 Energy
Checkpoint 5 - 1270-1320 Energy

These are the rough estimates, it will require around 1270-1320 Energy to complete this mini game

 

Here's the data based on which these estimations are calculated.

Total Rolls - 80 (in this video)
Forward +1 - 65 times (81.25%)
Forward +2 - 12 times (15.00%)
Forward +3 - 3 times (3.75%)
We think it's likely that the actual percentage are 80% (+1), 15% (+2) and 5% (+3).

If you reach a Radioactive Fragment, then you go -5 everytime but it's 50% that you will go back or stay there.
Radioactive Fragments at every checkpoint is following
Checkpoint 1:  0
Checkpoint 2:  3
Checkpoint 3:  5
Checkpoint 4:  9
Checkpoint 5:  12

Total there are 29 radioactive fragments.

Now based on this we calculated the estimates that were given above.

tl;dr You can always get free extra protection slot, just by completing all daily missions, and at least 2 special missions.

Minigame is live, we got a little more information to work with. Some of the info may still be incorrect, hopefully it won't be :x Please don't blame me if something goes wrong.

Energy:

4 per daily mission, 324 total.

40 per special mission, 280 total (however one locked behind premium)

You can collect 604 energy total, without buying offers from shop. You'll however need at least a day of premium. If you can't get premium, you can only obtain 564 energy.

I'm not counting gold boxes yet.

 

Game: (pretty much just explaining in more detail, skip if you want)

I'll refer to "fragments" as "squares". There are 89 total squares. Starting one is not counted. First square is also first checkpoint, where you get participation paint prize.

From that point, remaining squares are split into 4 parts, each ending with a checkpoint. Between 2 checkpoints, there are 21 squares. (4x 21 + 5 checkpoints = 89)

There are also radioactive squares marked as meteorites. Each checkpoint has more of them, which makes every checkpoint harder to reach than previous one.

First to second: 3 meteorites
Second to third: 5 meteorites
Third to fourth: 9 meteorites
Fourth to Fifth: 12 meteorites (the image is edited, just to show where meteorites are positioned, thanks for info about meteorite positions @Winky)

We do not know chances to roll 1, 2 or 3 on dice, and neither we know chances for meteorites to throw you back. At least I don't quite understand what does this mean.

We can still use this to calculate BEST and WORST scenario. These are less likely to happen than... uh.. I'll stop here.

Best: Always roll 3, meteorites will never throw you back (there is chance meteorites won't throw you back, maybe it's that 50%).

Well, that's easy, 89 steps, so 89/3 = 30 rolls. That's 300 energy.

Worst: Always roll 1, every meteorite will throw you back 5 squares.

Also easy, there are 3+5+9+12 = 29 meteorites. If each throws you back 5 squares, you'll need not only 89 dice rolls, but also extra 29x5 = 145 rolls. Total 234 steps, or 2340 energy. Ok...

So you'll need at least 300 and in the worst case 2340 energy.

I think most of you want to know how much energy it can take to a specific checkpoint (and what's the worst situation).

As before, best scenario assumes always rolling 3, and meteorites never throwing you back.
Worst scenario assumes the opposite, always rolling 1, and every meteorite throwing you back by 5.

Second checkpoint: (extra protection slot)

23 squares to move total, 3 meteorites on way

 

Best option:

Dice rolled 8 times, every time roll 3, total 24. That's 80 energy.

 

Worst option:

You need 23 + 3x5 (meteorites) = 38 dice rolls, or 380 energy. This is 100% completable just by doing daily and special missions, you get 324 from daily and another 280 from special missions. You don't even need premium.

Third checkpoint: (smoky + wasp LGC)

45 squares to move total, 8 meteorites on way (3+5)

 

Best option:

Dice rolled 15 times, every time roll 3, total 45. That's 150 energy.

 

Worst option:

You need 45 + 8x5 (meteorites) = 85 dice rolls, or 850 energy.

 

This is not always completable without spending money, but if you do all missions and catch at least 246 energy gold boxes (have fun), you'll 100% complete this. However, with average luck, you should be able to do third checkpoint just using energy from missions.

Fourth checkpoint: (crisis, armadillo, new OP augment)

67 squares to move total, 17 meteorites on way (3+5+9)

 

Best option:

Dice rolled 23 times, every time roll 3, total 69. That's 230 energy.

 

Worst option:

You need 67 + 17x5 (meteorites) = 152 dice rolls, or 1520 energy.

 

Worst case looks really bad, but on average, this could be still doable by catching golds, or with spending some money.

 

Now there is a second part, using experimental data from @Ghost_Animators:

80% chance to roll 1
15% chance to roll 2
5% chance to roll 3

8 out of 13 meteorites pulled back, and always pulled back by 5. That's 61.5%. It's pretty hard to tell if that's supposed to be 75% or 50% or a value between, but I'm going to use 75% pull back chance, just to simulate worse luck situation. I'm assuming that meteorite is always supposed to pull you back by 5, because it's pretty unlikely to get 8 times -5 if you could be pulled by only 1, 2,3 or 5

There is however extra problem past checkpoint 2. If you skip certain meteorite by rolling 2 or 3, but hit next meteorite, you will be thrown in front of the first one, giving you extra chance to step on a meteorite, which you previously skipped. This gets even worse in last checkpoint, where you will certainly hit multiple meteorites in row.

For this reason I'll assume you step on EVERY meteorite, since you have only about 20% chance to roll 2 or 3.

Average roll is 1.25 (0.8x1 + 0.15x2 + 0.05x3), with 75% chance to get -5 penalty per meteorite. I'll instead assume every meteorite moves you back by 3.75 squares.

 

Second checkpoint: (23 steps, 3 meteorites)

(23 + 3x3.75)/1.25 = 274 energy

You get it, here's a screenshot for other checkpoints.

Based on this info, it should be possible to do 3rd checkpoint just by completing missions, but you might need to buy a few bundles, or catch golds if you get unlucky.

For example, if I slightly modify entered data: 61.5% for meteorite, and also 95% to step on a meteorite (IMO it's a pretty safe guess, you should be able to skip 5% of all meteorites.)

If I further modify it and use what was mentioned in information video about minigame, it mentioned a 50% chance (to be thrown back.)

Between 859 and 1046 energy for 4th checkpoint and 1263 to 1582 energy for 5th one.

There you go, it's worse than I thought last time, but it's mostly because of increasing meteorite numbers in later checkpoints. I think it's still really good, you can get some tankoins and 4th slot for almost free, on the other hand, pulsar is most likely locked behind a fairly high paywall... ?
At least rf skins don't give any advantage.

It's because once you step on it, it gets deleted. There should be 12 meteorites from 4th to 5th checkpoint.

so what happens to peole who got  favored by  the "bug /mistake" by living in the " right utc" ?   Are those resetted /gining them back the right energy or it will keep like that?Spared more than 600 containers , no one single  day of premium and after i redeemed them all i did read that  ,Bit upsetting .

My rewards which I got till almost checkpoint 3 has been removed by which is a fair decision in my opinion although they were cool rewards.

Anyways, The theme song is really awesome by the way.

could you devs give the download link toward all the mini-games sound tracks??? especially the last one "Tanki and the dark matter". Would you put it in media tab of Tanki?
