Buff for hunter's od

With the repair kit change, hunter's od has become very weak now. (I like to wait for their user to activate it on me and then, i trolled them each time, it has become in my reflex now)

So the following change can be applied now:

- all mines in the lightning radius would be disabled

-and the od would give a 2k HP damage to ennemies at highest ranks (and maybe if it is not enough, it could give a small splash impact along with the damage just like the juggernaut one but way less than it)

It feels very satisfying to negate the enemies OD just by pressing one key, but I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for the hunter users. Definitely deserves a buff, not sure if adding 2k damage is the right way, but yeah, some buff is needed.

Same for me, the EMP effect can disable the enemy mines, but the 2k is a bit exaggerated, even 500 or a little impact force seems justified.

Maybe make Hunter be able to affect even immune players? I get that immunities are in the game for a reason but Hunter was presented as the "antidote" to enemy ODs. I think this idea should be furthered- taking down giants like Paladin or Mammoth (Hunter was even said to be able to "jam the mad Mammoth" or something) or someone with RK/immunity augment. I think buffing Hunter to ignore hull immunities/RK would bring back its initial purpose. Hunter was kinda ruined when its effects turned into status effects.

I mean when you make an OD you have to consider the hull itself is meant to be the most versatile hull of all of the hulls so the od should be considered as such as well there's a reason y it's the first tank given for starting out, for a new player starting out cancelling out everything is a good way to be able to defend yourself but even through all stages it just makes sense it's good for support offence defence etc. so I agree with you MeOw

  • Overdrive no longer jams opponents;
  • Overdrive now deals 1000 to 2000 instant Unblockable damage. to all enemies within the radius of applying the effects of EMP and stun.

Might be interesting to use in assault mode, like if you are lucky, you can one shot everyone.

Hunter's OD was the worst for me, it only gave status effect, now, it will be more fun to use.

The buff may be too powerful in a bit, it's a disadvantage that it doesn't jams the enemies but 1k to 2k is enough to take out light hulls and even damages medium or in worst case Heavy hulls. Quite intrigued to see the change ^^
