More Options For Healing Teammates Or Helping/Supporting Teammates In Battles

Recommended Posts

I feel like there should be more ways to help your teammates in battles other than Isida or Shaft's Healing Emitters Augment.

I've came up with several ways to help your teammates in battle that should be implemented into the game below:

Tesla - Could get rid of several negative effects (e.g Jammer) but only the Tesla's that are on your team.

Firebird - New Augment Healing Mix.

Freeze - New Augment Healing Mix.

Crusaders Overdrive - When a Crusader uses it's overdrive to freeze and pierce enemy tanks armor it should also be able to heal your allies if they are close enough to the icicle.

Magnum - New Augment Healing Blast; With this Augment Magnum should be able to heal your allies but only when they are close enough to the blast .

Hornets Overdrive - When a Hornet uses it's overdrive it should have a 50% chance to give nearby allies the Polarizer effect for 3 seconds. This could be a helpful tactic in Juggernaut Battles.

Twins - New Augment Healertron.

Ricochet - New Augment Healing Field.

Juggernaut's Overdrive - When your ally juggernaut uses its overdrive it can also heal nearby allies .

Valid

If this idea was posted before, I would have declined it, but since the introduction of Healing Shaft, devs have clearly laid out alternatives to present heal other than repairs and isida.

And basically with every patch update, new augments are being introduced, whether status effect or in general, so it's not a bad idea to inculcate more healing augments in the game.

Crusader icicle? I can already smell noob teamates that comes infront of you when they saw that you are aiming at ennemies just to get repaired. This will just make the crusader OD weaker indirectly.

As for other possibility to heal, you forgot the mechanic drone which give repair kits frequently.

Other augment you proposed aren't good honestly, healing shaft was an exception because shaft users are most of the time useless, so shaft healing emmiters was a good idea to prevent them to be that much useless. But honestly, healing twins etc, dont you think it would be too much OP?

Not to mention Isida and Shaft are more "high tech" or "mysterious" turrets- that is, Isida uses repair vs attack nanobots (justifying self heal or general heal) and Shaft fires... whatever it fires. Honestly healing Shaft is already a bit of a stretch imo. Giving that effect to artillery, cannons, a radar ability, plasmaguns or a literal flamethrower is.. well, to put in nicer terms, nonsensical.

Yes i agree, i dont know why is this idea valid, even if devs thrown all status effect on all weapon, healing isnt a status effect, its a special ability, just like magnum who can raise up and down the barrel, if all turret could heal, why not allow all turret to raise up and down the barrel too lol

Yeah I don't like this idea either. A few patch notes to the future and everyone will use everything to heal while using isida with vampire nanobots only. Why bother using isida to heal? It's hard to aim and has limited range, much more convenient to use healing twins or something.

Also adding healing options to the game could make the gameplay much more static and stale in some modes, like juggernaut for example. We've already seen suggestions trying stop juggernauts from camping so much, adding healing to OD's and other things would make the matter even worse.

I don't like this idea either, but hey, there are still a ton of players who use Isida to heal.

People who are using Crystal Augments heal, though isn't as efficient as Support Nanobots, or how should I say this.

Vampire players don't heal for obvious reasons.

Isida players like its DPS and like to attack, they heal when they feel like it. So, it seems like people don't like healing as much.

Support Nanobots like you said, still see quite a lot of them, not just in TJR, just camping with other campers and healing.

That's not what I meant exactly. I thought that if the healing ability becomes so ubiquitous that almost every turret has an augment for it, then players may find those better to use as a healer in a battle and would only actually consider using isida with a non-healing augment. So quite an irony there.

I didn't mean there is something inherently wrong with the vampire nanobots themselves.

Ah I see I see.

But anyways back to the topic, I hope there are no more healing Augments in the game.

We have a couple Drones already existing in the game to help support teammate with healing as well. ?
