Security Code to Log In

Hello.

I haven't logged into Tanki Online in some time, and wanted to log in today to check my stuff and any changes.

However, when I entered my username and password, it then took me to a Security Code tab. It asked to "enter the 6 digit code from my phone".

But I couldn't see any Tanki code notification pop up from my phone.

Did this security check occur for everyone else? Do I need to click the "cannot enter" link and have to message the Tanki Help Site? Is there a way to get an email of the code instead because I have an email linked I believe? Or is there another way to do the security code check?

 

I'm glad that I was still logged into the Tanki Online website. I hope this problem gets solved easily and I can log into the game.

Hi,

The security code you are talking about is the Two-factor authentication. In order to get the code, you need to download an authenticator app to your phone (like Google Authenticator). If you have troubles logging into your account, you should reach out to the Tech Support.

Hi. Yeah, I used this in the past. I thought that it was the only time we had to use the Two Factor Authentication, so I forgot about its usage, until after you mentioned it above.

But I still had it downloaded on my phone, and was successfully able to log into the game.
