laser sight

A leisure sight would be very good, in the online tanki x had aim and in the classic tanki online have no aim until today.

It would be of great importance a aiming system that could be equipped in the garage so would use anyone who wanted, the aim is what I miss most, it is not impossible to play without aim more there are weapons that if they had a aiming system would be more convenient to play

Valid

There are certain turrets like Shaft and striker that already have the laser mechanism present, and it presents an advantage, but a disadvantage as people can identify that someone is aiming at them.

Also, for medium and melee turrets, I can't visualize how this works, because when you aim at a player, his tank boundaries already get red, so you know you can attack.

I think devs intentionally didn't put laser sight for certain turrets.

Bad idea, i will explain why.

If all turret get it, it would be difficult to tell if the ennemy has a shaft or just a thunder. Laser is basically the thing that betray a shaft user. If all weapon get it, in the long term, people will not move when a laser will be put on them as they won't think a shaft is aiming on them, they would think that it can just be a smoky aiming on them by mistake.

Also, if you are asking for a sight because you hardly touch a ennemy so you need a supportive feature, there is already the red mark that come all around the ennemy tank when you put the sight on him, for this.

To protect ourselves from shaft users, this should be exclusive to shaft, sadly striker also has it but if the sight is moving weirdly you can differenciate a shaft and a striker. Maybe a bip bip bip should be added to striker instead of a laser.

he's talking about the "laser" present on Tanki X, which works for all the turrets aside the ones like freeze etc.

It's a laser that's only visible to the player using his own tank and not everyone else, it's a kind of aid to help with aiming, especially on large distances.

IMO, the red marker is doing well. thus adding such feature is just extra. you may say that it is for very long distances, I know right however without it you can show ur skill of using mid range turrets such as smoky and thunder. since the farther the target is the marker gets faded, landing ur bullets on the target successfully requires skill not a laser.

I never said anything about it being something i wanted in the game or not, i limited myself to explain it to the guy because he misunderstood the OP's suggestion.

The Tanki X laser is not necessary, TX was a more visually cluttered game, with tons of smoke, screen shaking and visual effects, thus, a player-only laser was acceptable as a feature. We don't really need it in TO, especially since we already have the red outline feature.

And I don't want to sound like an elitist, but can we stop with ideas on how to make TO an even easier game? I mean the game is already as easy and noob friendly as it can be.

I see, so to summarize, its a self-laser and does not get shown to the enemy team, meaning If I am using it, the enemy wont realize anything except Shaft or Striker?

Status Updated

That was a mistake on my behalf, my apologies, if it's a laser only to help the tanker itself, then it's a good idea ^^

LMFAO I agree with this.

Remember in the mid 2010s when you flipped over, you'd get a popup that said "Use your turret recoil to get back on your tracks or self destruct"? Now it just selfs for you if you don't turn off the setting. Devs really out here heavily implying that players can't follow basic instruction + logic. Plus their reasoning for removing the upgrade button. It's so condescending LOL.
