Make Legendary alterations purchasable for crystals?

No, unless you meant a Pulsar Salvo that guarantees these effects to apply xD. The thing about Pulsar is that it relies on crits with reduced damage and thus is mostly unreliable. I meant literally something like Superconducting Salvo - Each sniping shot applies EMP and AP for 5s as well as Stun for 2s to all enemies within a 15 meter radius. Buy it now for only 599.99 EUR!  I may be exaggerating, but definitely something much more nasty than any of the existing augments would come to be. The devs would see that we are getting too comfortable being immune to two debuffs.

No, we don't have plans for a higher tier of augments. I have plans for more variability within current legendary augments.

For example, please don't quote me on this and don't expect that we will do it, but currently I got 13 augments planned for Thunder alone. Additional augments, not total. Might give someone a hint why the hell I am so rushing all of those balance patches lately.

 

Why don't you give a balance ticket to my support nanobots then? Now everything oneshots anyone and i still get to have the old post nerf healing stats. 

Try healing 6 people at the same time while Magnum bombs rain from the sky every 5 seconds.

But hey, I'm only a mortal man too after all, trying to carry on with powercrept equipment, often i wonder how it feels to find a good medic in this game you know? That feeling of having someone to have your back most if not all the time, to then getting instakilled by a crit of some random 7k GS Magnum that does nothing but stay still at the back of the map with a K/D worse than Marcus's one in the Devs vs YouTubers battle.

Considering there are a lot of animated paints that you can get (which do NOTHING) to help you in battle, paying for legendary whether it be for crystals or cash is a big non starter for me.

Animated and normal paints should be "epic" at best. You are asking far to much from players in regards to how much you want from items cry/cash.

No offence but between 1-5 million, not a chance I would lay out that much for a augment.

And here is the reason why. TO is changing so quickly, new augments, turrets, etc that these older augments are not worth more than 100,000 cry.

What will these augments give you in battle against the huge amounts of OP gear that already dominates battles in the form of buyers, nothing.

The buff/nerf cycle ensures that whatever you gain through luck or cash does not last long. 

TO as most players know is dead as far as balance and enjoyment goes. 

Balance has been replaced by.....well we all know it's never existed, so nothing to replace it.

Enjoyment has been replaced by the overpriced items they sell in the shop and the constant manipulation of the game by the developers to generate more cash.

So between 1-5 million for legendary augments, not a chance.

Well I hope some kind of "Autoloader" is planned for Thunder as an augment. Just like Hammer, 3 shots in rapid succession and a clip reload at the end.

Yeah, I agree. I was trying to be realistic with what prices the devs would likely consider.

I distinctly remember a few years ago in a live stream with Hazel and Cedric - Hazel said something to the effect of, “if anyone thinks they would do a better job than me as lead developer, feel free to send us your CV and we’ll have a look at it.”

Thunder AP, Thunder Stun, Thunder EMP, Thunder Jammer, Thunder Heat, Thunder Freeze. 

Already knocked off almost half.

 

Also, maybe something similar to Helios.  ???

Yes most probably most of the 13 augments aren't creative?  Eventhough it's interesting if the 13 augments are going to be released all, which indicates (by far at least) they are intending to make the game just overcrowded and stuffy, that is hard to keep track on, and be up to date with them in discussions etc.. even among regular forum players.  The player just have to buy the current broken augment and rush to play with it, even if he doesn't know all its mechanics or its competitors of other augments.    Said too much, mostly these 13 augments wont be released all, and mostly they're not exactly 13 but to match tanki birthday.

Yes, i dont rely on battle fund, most crystal from container and challenges and missions.

I have clear uncommon and rare pool. And full maxed crystal garage.

For epic pool, left with 66 paints and 18 hull immu.

For legend pool, left with 92 paints and 26(today 25) augment.

Nothing from exotic pool, but i got fire xt, shaft xt, hopper xt before and rest skin from challenge.

------- i just do simply missions nothing much.

I got average

10-17 epic from container monthly, (all shot effects, some time paints some time immu, nowaday mostly crystal battery) (5-9 average for 2021, 2022 is better)

1-4 legends monthly (mainly paints, sometime like emp gauss, ap shaft, emp ap rail, isida vmp, hammer critic, stun smoky, ap smoky...)

Just go a legend from 4 daily mission container,lol

I would rather buy Helios from a shop showcase rather than wait for it to pop up in UCs, but still giving it away for crystals seems unfavorable to me.

Honestly? Just stick them at two mil. This stops people going for them in progression, which they shouldn't be anyways, and makes them nothing more than a leisure purchase for established players at legend ranks, whilst keeping them attainable, since people are absolutely willing to shell out over a million on drones in sales.

Honestly, without a drone (preferably powerful) augments are insignificant.

I would rather spend 1.5M on drone than on a single augment.
