very funny mate. I'm not crying that my icicle can only kill 2 enemies. I'm just using it as an example of how tanki keeps nerfing everything. I know for a fact you have something in your garage you loved and it's now barely usable.... 

Crusader has become far easier to use and more friendly for majority of users. 4K true damage at max guarantees a 1 hit KO of any garage hull aside those who have lifeguard active.

It currently does also have a better aoe with the same status effect duration no matter how far you were within the blast zone.

Crusader OD in the past was shuffled too much, but was also impacted by adrenaline too, but only when booster offered the 'same boost' as defender, is when crusader was able to 1 shot paladins of that caliber. (Although there was also once a time where they buffed crusader OD's chargeup time and then nerfed it's damage down to 2k)

It is certainly far safer to use crusader OD with crisis, allowing the crisis users to keep a hold of their 'maximum armor' and still being able to deal the same 4k damage at max at point of impact with no need of changing supply modes to buff ones own damage.

Told you that helios will boost the fund. We are 200K from 10 Million and more than 10 days are left. Keeping this pace we will reach 14 or 15 Million.

Whoever predicted reaching Helios would boost the fund is a Genius. By like 6:30 pm (UK Time) we'll reach Hammer LC. And we'll have 10 WHOLE DAYS left. 

I'm not getting excited yet about reaching crisis/armadillo. I'll start getting excited about those if we reach level 13 with decent time left. 

I personally don't care about Tesla Pulsar cos they'll nerf it, and while the thunder augs are rlly good, my thunder is only mk4 so idc about that ?

Not exited about EMP Hammer either. EMP duration is only 2 secs so it's basically a support augment. 

Helios is good for boosting fund, but any fool knows it'll be nerfed in the next few patch notes (I doubt tanki have the balls to nerf it straight away cos that would be a blatant 'up yours' to every single F2P player)

Skin container - hopefully i get crusader XT.

To be fair, no matter how hard they nerf Tesla Pulsar, it's going to be obnoxious (in SGE especially) either way with Dictator because of how Tesla's range can expand.

most of you complain about how they r gonna nerf helios and stuff, cuz YOU WANNA OUTPOWER NON-BUYERS, but if i'm not mistaken couple weeks ago yall were crying about how buyers slay all of u with helios, cuz it is overpowered. It doesnt make any sense. choose one side. Plus yall want balanced game while you are saying otherwise.

The only thing that does not make any sense is your post.

 

All of us are just stating the obvious: since Helios is too strong, it will get a nerf. No way in hell the Devs will allow everyone to run around with that game breaking augment.

No one is complaining about that, it's just common sense. (and simple reading comprehension.)

it is not that, yes helios is strong, yet it is still not a common augment since you could only get it from ultra containers. But at the end of the fund, 6-7k players will get the augment which will divide the matchmaking, the game in general into 2 groups: people with helios and people without helios. In each battle there will be at least 4-5 tankers with that augment. OFC they need to nerf it. Some of commenters cry about how the devs are marketing augments falsely because they nerf it later. Think about it, if they keep the helios the same after the fund the game will be a miserable place, and a hell for non-buyers. I dont even know why they have the need to mention it, like it is for all good. "Only 12 years old are happy for reaching helios" Like cmonnnn, whether they nerf it or not, it is still a win. Put yourself into shoes of non-buyers and think what would happen if you have to fight multiple players with helius in one game.

Alright 1st of all, since when did we have 6-7k players? Much less who are gonna end up Helios? We must be playing different games.

And 2ndly, you misinterpreted my comment. I was referencing how the younger demographic, heck, people who don't even think, are oblivious to the marketing strategies of the devs. Having Helios might be a win for you, but it certainly isn't for me, along with the other numerous in-game items that I consider useless in the current climate.

the last time there were that many people participating in the fund, it might be even higher for this time.

i dont even wanna know how it is not a win for someone else while 1. it is still an augment with special features 2. no matter how they nerf it, it'll contribute you an advantage in the field.

I dont even know why they have the need to mention it, like it is for all good".  By saying this, you're implying that devs care about 'balance' or the welfare of F2P players. This is just a horrible insinuation. Devs do not care, quite simply. If they did, they wouldn't have let buyers run around with this flawless augment for 2 months - dominating every single battle they play with the meta of Helios, Crisis and Paladin.  They're not nerfing it for balance, they're nerfing it cos they've made peak profits from Helios now and they can now nerf it and move onto making profits for the next OP augments (new Thunder and Scorpion alts).

The only advantage getting Helios will give me in battle is that from hence forth, 99% of users will have Rico prot equipped at all times. That means less room for prot against my favorite demolitions: Gauss, Striker, Hammer.

as a business student, i don't care how it sounds or what it means to you, but it is the reality of business and market place. You introduce a new product, maximizing the profit with high prices and promotion, then lessen it once a newer product comes up. Yes, helios has been a very strong augment for several weeks but now it is not that brand new, once fund participants will get it, it will no longer be a special augment, and will be nerfed, that's it. If they didnt care about the game, helios might stay the same after the fund, and turn the game into a whole mess where non-buyers will be nothing but a side figure to kill and get points

Considering Helios will be available to all Tanki fund participants now, I just wish Tanki never nerfed all the OP augs they nerfed. This may sound like a terrible idea to you, but imagine a game where all these augs are still like when they first came out: Blunderbuss, EMP Hammer,  AP/EMP Gauss, Electroturret, AP/EMP Tesla, Stun Striker, EMP Twins, Helios, EMP Fire, AP Freeze, Vampire Isida. There would be SO much variety and things to consider while tryna defend yourself; simultaneously, there'd be so many options for attack. Every battle would have unique OP augments vs unique OP augments, and I haven't even talked about overdrives yet. 

And before you say that would just be heaven for buyers, a lot of these augments have been given in battle passes and can be gotten from regular containers. My wish is that they never gave us the NERFED versions of these augments. I feel battles would be more fun and intense - and fair cos a lot of these augs have been given in battle passes and stuff, like I said.

Fairplay, you explained this very well and it sounds very rational. I suppose it's the computer game equivalent of me buying an Iphone 13 and Apple slowing it down with every update when they release the Iphone 14 XD. But as i said in my comment above, I just wish all the OP augs could coexsist in their best states, cos imo, it'd make the game more fun.

But like you said, for the purpose of profit (which the game needs to survive) I understand why this isn't possible.

true, but tbf, Tanki has been making it easier for us to get Tankoins recently. E.g, 100 Tankoins from completing a battle pass, 700 or so Tankoins from grinding a fair amount in the space mission event, completing supermissions on ultra weekends/ events.

i mean yeah but it might prevent the interest for the next products they'll introduce. If your iphone 13 has the same features and strengh and stuff as iphone 14, why would you be invested in buying the new iphone 14, it is all for the sake of game's faith to continue lol
