Question to Developers

I am getting this when I try to log on:

Unknown error

TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'damping')

- This error comes up now and I don't know what it means. It essentially blocks me from logging into the game. I noticed these kind of issues pop up more often during events, so that's my complaint hahaha

Please revert damage number indicator colors. Jack in the box is hard to see most of the time, especially at longer ranges; we are used to seeing orange when we get a kill, and red for a critical kill. It's super disorienting right now. The new system makes it much harder to process and take in battle information and react immediately.

Hmm Interesting that it would even bother you, cause I don't pay attention to those indicators at all ?

Honestly, I don't mind seeing red as a the kill counter since it has been that way when it was brought into the game around 2017 - 2018. But yellow for crits has been a staple since Smoky had it in the beginning.


Crits should be in yellow.

That's understandable, but it is difficult to discern critical kill vs normal kill sometimes.

I definitely agree on non-fatal crits.

The new colors cause me so many double takes. I pay attention to those indicators partly due to my fascination with game mechanics/parameters.

Oh alright, so it is more of a curiosity thing than anything else? Because I wondered if you used that info to gain some sort of advantage in battle or what not.

Advantage? No inherent/unfair advantage to my knowledge, however being able to recognize a critical hit vs a normal hit might help me react and decide if I want to keep attacking or flee a fight or something. You are correct in that it is partially curiosity, knowing if my kill was a critical or normal hit. I mainly use Round Stabilization Railgun, so its 50% critical chance + tight damage spread makes it hard to recognize critical vs normal kill. In the end it is mostly a habit/reaction time related thing.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't mean unfair advantage ?. More like using the cues the game gives you to the fullest.

Then like I said, it just helps my reaction time a little bit, just thought process stuff I guess.

Since the DDOS thing isn't over and that because some of us aren't able to enter the game or complete the challenge (3000 stars), shouldn't we get a compensation, for not being able to finish the challenge since this game is bugged and we're unable to enter the game?

99% of Tanki V-LOGS are utterly useless and boring.
No new information is provided to us. There's always 1 segment telling us about the ongoing ultra weekend in the game that everyone knows about, 1 segment about question of the week in which you get the chance to earn a generous 3 container reward, and another boring segment about Youtubers using their Press accounts to obliterate noobs while using fully maxed equipment which half the times isn't even available to the general public.

And don't even get me started on the Q&A part and the devs answering the, I quote, "hottest questions" that tankers have.
You guys just pick out the questions that are the most convenient for you to answer,, instead of leaving out the actual hot questions like people asking why container and rank up rewards were so heavily nerfed.
And please don't try to debate the last part, anyone with half a braincell would know that it's true.

A question for Uncle Hazel: 

Why don't you consider in adding well in the future Remasters as it will suit future remaster. Also it goes with tanki's theme regarding maps!

I have been unable to join a battle after the one I was playing in was freezing up...tanks not taking or giving damage...siege points not active...supplies timing out but not reactivating. Tried to restart, but been 20 minutes. 

Is there a server down or something?
