Question to Developers

I mean criticism is fine but wouldnt the players be much happier if they didn't care so much about what the game does?

If you're wondering, yes I still do care a bit about what they do but not anywhere as much as I used to back in the days.

I believe there are 3 types of players left playing tanki.

1) Those who are new and haven't had the 'pleasure' of knowing how crappy this game has become. Their baseline is today. They don't know how good this game was 5-10 years ago. I mean, didn't this game actually win an award in 2013? That was TEN years ago and it's gone downhill since that moment. The new players don't have that frame of reference to base their opinion on. They usually stop playing when the novelty wears off.

2) Those who still manage to enjoy tanki. These include hackers, buyers, tanki employees, and others. They genuinely come here and look forward to playing under whatever parameters the new updates bring with nerfed turrets and hulls--and manage to log in despite server issues.

3) Those who play out of habit. I include myself under this catagory. These are the players who don't necessarily enjoy playing or hate it enough to stop, but it's become a habit similar to smoking cigarettes or drinking coffee in the morning. For the most part, they complete their mission and log out. These people recognize this game for what it is and will never spend a single ruble on it. This group doesn't (ultimately) care about tanki and will find something else to play when it shuts down.

Since I am catagory #3, I am not the target audience for whom the developers make this game for. I know this.

I don't even think #2 is their target audience. #2s play the game no matter what kooky update, no matter what turret is nerfed, and no matter how many drones/hulls/turrets get taken away from them in the garage. They will pay their money. The devs know they will pay, so they don't target them with their updates either.

I feel that they tailor this game for the people in #1, to try and get an endless stream of new players. The developers make floaty tanks, kooky turrets, and an endless supply of frivolous paints to try and capture the imagination of new players into spending their money before the novelty wears off.

Also, they sell your email addresses for money when you 'link' your account. It's the oldest internet moneymaker on the planet. A new player wouldn't know that either.

I think I missed something but I just tried out my maxed Saboteur Drone, the one that plants multiple mines... and it's now laying like, 5 mines instead of a ring of mines like it did before.

Well done devs, yet another element of the game you've made obsolete.

I used to use Sab with Freeze and Mammy in CTF... or Scorpion with Brutus... Rail with Crisis... but now I'll just stick with Brutus and Scorpion (without Tornado I might add) in every. Single. Battle.

Because Fire, Freeze, Scorpion's Tornado, etc etc, are now obsolete.

Soon everyone will be using Wasp and Smoky with Brutus... because everything else will be useless by the end of the year.

im the 4th type.
A player with maxed out garage who actually has fun playing the game (most. of. the. time.) because he has everything maxed so nerfs/buffs don't effect him in the slightest. That player also uses augments that are FUN to use for HIM and not use augments just because theyre OP. Basically untouchable players who just play for fun. Tanki shuts down? Oh well how sad.

Do you plan to further improve the username filtration system? I see players with inappropriate nicknames all the time

I went over to the russian forum to report this, but I noticed that I was the only one to submit a report of any sort under game breakers. Could someone forward my video to a working game violators section?

Here is my video:

@Inkling_Boy Tanki needs to do something about the hacker problem. It has gotten way out of hand. I had started a topic to discuss such issues, but it got taken down so it no longer exists

Add aim assist against allies for nanotech shells thunder. I have said this before and it got no consideration whatsoever. Players always have to align their hull parallel to the ally's hull for the shot to touch the ally, which is hard obviously.

It will remain a useless augment if you guys don't add some peculiarity for the augment. Like every other healing augment/turret has its own benefits. But nanotech thunder is an augment which was added into the game with no further examination ( Left it there to die ). This augment must be given the same consideration as healing emitters. The augment needs some specialty for players to use it for healing. Like for example, splash dmg healing. The thunder turret's most prominent feature is its splash damage.  So the healing must be associated with it in my opinion.

Healing is just another augment for people to pay for, like bouncing smoky, just for a sake of one more augment, most job of gun is to destroy enemy, auto aim ally can be troublesome when u try to defense flag, the main goal is kill enemy, not heal friend.

Same like heal shaft,

You only heal when follow ally after flag

Logged back in for 5 minutes today cause I was bored.

It's ridiculously stupid that you can't use supplies without having an active drone. I thought this game couldn't get any worse from the last time I played (2 years ago) but I'm apparently wrong!

2 Complaints today...

1. Ultra Containers: Opened 15 of them.

Got 14x Armour boosts, and 3000 diamonds in the last one.

Green containers are still better than Ultra Containers... and that's saying a lot.

2. Festive Mode: Entering a battle, everyone just drives around in circles, and none of my supplies work... game just sits doing nothing... so festive mode isn't working.

The MMMonster kill in super golds is broken. So it is purposely designed to make ur tank explode like blaster, and kill the players very close to us. But in most of the cases we only get 1 or 2 kills. It wasn't like this before. All enemies in a certain radius from the tank of the player would get destroyed. That's how it was originally. The current design is absolutely useless and needs to be fixed asap because the event lasts for just 2 more days.

I agree with you. That M-M-M-Monster Kill is very annoying thing to get from the Super Gold Box, especially when almost nobody is around. I often get it from them, so I understand every players' pain when getting it when only few players or nobody is close. I don't think it will be fixed so fast, so we have to deal with it

Why doesn't the EN forum have a place to report violations such as hacking, sabotage, botting, etc.? Is this a feature you could add here so I can just stay on one community?
