How are you supposed to finish in the top 3?

For the top 3 in the winning team mission, you still have to be in the top 3 at the end of the battle. DM helps primarily with the mission that only requires you to be in the winning team.

As we talking about events, wasp-smoky in short bridge, give you a 3/8 chance (37%) to finish it, compared to the regular 3/20 (6.7%).

@Opex-Rah - This weekend's Ultra Mission "Medallist" - Get into the TOP-3 4 times in any matchmaking battles. Not possible.

Which also means it is not possible to complete Ultra Mission "Supermission: The best at everything! Complete <<Medallist>>...Also,  last Sunday's Weekly Missions includes "Take one of the top three places in the winner's team in 4 battles" i.e. the same as the Medallist mission.

So what the dev team has done is proactively discriminate against all players with a GS under ~8000.

@mjmj5558 you say "I come to the TOP-3 like 70% of the time..." What combo of turret, hull, augments, protections are you using and what is your GS?

@Cor7y - I tried your Dictator-Isida-Mechanic combo though I had to use Supplier as I do not have 90,000 crystals to buy Mechanic. Result was 2 kills, 18 deaths for this one very simple reason, "What usually happens in ASL mode is barely anyone from the enemy team attacks" was not communicated to the opposing team because they attacked in swarms. Thank you for the suggestion anyway.

In many battles I am in top 3 in Siege map. I use Titan, Smoky (or Thunder) and Mechanic drone. I use heal supplies all the time. Even if one teammate near me. And run and cap the point, don't camp.

Supplier is better for score than mechanic anyway.

Most of the times in ASL barely anyone attacks, so it’s an easy win in most maps

But keep in mind that recently they increased points for scoring a flag from 6 to 10, so not only does it make it harder to win for the defending team if other things remain constant, but also more people will now attack as it’s now easier for attacking team to win

I'd personally would not care at all if this mission was removed. With the usual trash MM balance, I'd just leave every match I land into until I find a match I believe I can confidently do well in.

Saves me time, and supplies.

 

I recommend all mismatched low ranks to do the same until something is done.

 

Edit: If it is a daily mission, just use Crystals to change the mission.

I do the same,

I spend average of 4-5k crystal to change mission so i can do all mission within 1 battle.

At legend rank, crystal is no issue but we need container
