How do i improve my K/D rate?

I've just been wondering for a while now.. Why is my KD so bad?? And i never figured out why. So i decided to post this on the forums because i am in desperate need for help and tips from experienced Tankers such as Most other players unlike me. Please comment to this post for any tips to improve my and others Kill / Death Rate

Take your strongest combo and focus on getting kills mainly if you want to focus on K/D ratio. Honestly K/D ratio factor isn't important nowadays. 
Play Team Deathmatch or Special Event modes to increase your K/D ratio

Using heavier hulls and longer range turrets(magnum/scorpion/gauss/shaft) may help you to increase your k/d . Also, do upgrade your drone and protection modules . While in  battle, judge the strongest red team players , go to garage and equip prot modules for their turrets .

Just camp like a noob...

You play CTF go and get the flag. You play Rugby go and get the ball. You play Siege or CP go and score points. You play Assault (in attack) go and get the flag. Don't camp in base to protect your K/D like a noob.

Camping with a good K/D relative to your rank and hrs played is a true art form.

You need to choose your map/mode carefully. You then need to choose your combo, long range with heavy hull and preferably sab/crisis drone, maxed of course for maximum HP damage. you then need to decide where to camp for maximum safety and maximum effect, (kills.)

Every player has a role to play regardless of the way they play, even if they are constantly dying, which i think is very noobish, but there you go, each to their own.
