I think players should be able to purchase protection modules for crystals as well. For example the fourth module slot costs 5 000 tankoins, a f2p player will have to complete every single challenge for almost 2 years to obtain the needed amount for the module slot (100 tankoins every 2 weeks) . I think it would benefit everyone if there was an option to unlock it with crystals as well, it could cost like 500 000 crystals or so.

We do not accept Ideas regarding decrease of item's price or rewards/bonuses. Developers made it clear that neither they wish to sell module slot for crystals neither there will be a discount on them. The change 1 tankoin = 100 000 crystals was an experiment done by the devs some time back, with the offer being on 90% discount, hence the real price will be much higher. Hypothetically, the last module slot would cost 50 Million crystals (50 000 000)

Furthermore, it is mentioned as under the Contracts system that the conversion rate is highly uneven (Development Plans).

Or be smart about it and buy the 4th slot for less than 1k tk during one of the special events, which happen like once every 2 months.

Like honestly, I don't understand why so many people at legend ranks still have only 3 slots.

They're always giving away slots at some event or another... usually you can participate for 990 TKs or in my case, I got it for free by playing the Space minigame.

I didn't know that there were discounts for the module slots. Now that I know about that, I think it's completely achievable for a f2p player to obtain it, so my apologies about the post I just didn't know about the discounts and the ability to get it for free like @Me0w_XP mentioned in this thread.

Here are some examples so that you can recognize similar events in the future!

- Tanki Fund (The cheapest bundle is 990 TKs; you will get the module slot if the fund level reaches the required prize level)
- The Tanki Dark Matter minigame is where I got my 4th slot: It was a minigame where you could obtain "energy" in the main game and then use it to play a sort of board game-esque minigame. One of the checkpoints contained the slot as a prize, which is how I got it for free. ^^

getting prot slot is easy 
just wait for any tanki fund or some other events - the rewards most likely will include 1 or 2 prot slots, you will just need to buy a bundle worth 1k or 2k tankoins
you can easily save tankoins than directly buying it

How often does the Tanki Fund happen? I have participated in it around a year ago I bought 2 bundles. It has changed since, I think the most recent one had a special website and more prizes.  I just wanna know the approximate date of the next one, I'm guessing around the time of the Winter Major but I'm not sure.
