Is there some sort of trick to completing the kills with critical damage missions?

So for some reason I am always unable to complete that mission. For the past few weeks when we had the week long special missions, one which required you to get 100 kills with critical shots, I was unable to get them. And this weekend, even the 15 kills with critical shot, it seems like I wont reach it. That has me quite confused... because I complete the other missions easily. Like usually I am the top player in matches or at least top 3 if there are buyers with OP augments. And the other weird thing is one of the main reasons why I reach top score is because of getting a lot of kills, like some players will get high scores by capturing flags, scoring goals, taking control points, or even healing and etc... but generally my scores are high because of kills... so its very weird how I can never seem to complete that mission. Not even close too.. like in the weeks where we had to reach 100 kills with critical damage, I was finished with all my other missions but I hadn't even reached like 20 kills with critical. By the end of the week I wasn't even at 50, so not even halfway. This weekend I am at 4/15 kills, although we still have 1 more day left it means I got 2 per day (Friday and Saturday), so I doubt I'll get 11 Sunday.

So based on how much kills I usually get in battles... its not really adding up. So I am just wondering if there is some sort of trick to do this?

I see you use gauss and striker a lot, those 2 turrets dont deal critical damage if you fire with a lock on the opponent

Only their arcade shots (no lock) do critical damage

Best combo for this is hornet OD + any high DPS turret like freeze, fire, isida or hammer

Use 

Smoky autocanon augment, it deal only critical most

Strike normal mode

Hammer critical augment

Railgun destablizer

Or

Freeze with hornet overdrive

Striker with dict/horndt overdrive

Tesla with dict overdrive in crowd map

shaft sniper mode doesnt deal critical damage and shaft generally has low critical hit chance in arcade mode. if u dont care about k/d just go in the open and shoot at anything that moves and getting themission shouldnt be too hard

Striker's salvo shoots 4 normal missiles and each of them are eligible to be a critical hit.

Shaft has relatively high critical chance parameters. It's that its critical damage isn't that high.

With your current equipment options, your best bet is to use your Striker with your Hornet/Dictator's Overdrive. Hornet AP's the enemies so any medium hull and below will be one-shotted in that shot time period. Dictator gives you supplies and Supercharge for 10 seconds to pair with Striker's high critical damage. Under regular circumstances, you would just play normally and it will eventually finish itself but you're a special case as you use Gauss (current gameplay does not favour arcade shot spam) and Striker (critical chance on the lower end for ranged turrets).

Blunderbuss Hammer - 50% chance

Tesla with Supercharge (Hornet or Dictator OD) - Able to deal critical damage to a cluster of enemies like Benefactor said

Sorted Ammunition Smoky - Critical hit every 4 shots

Strict Ammunition Load Thunder - Critical hit every 3 shots

Vulcan with Supercharge

Scout Railgun - Advances critical chance step faster than other Railguns

Round Stabilization Railgun - 50% chance

Round Destabilization Railgun - 30% chance with +100% critical damage
