Hello, tankers!

 

This time we do not have any new details to share about restoring normal operations of the game. However, we can assure you that we are constantly working to solve the problem and do our best so that you can enjoy your favorite game again.

 

Let us remind you that according to our calculations, the servers will be started a few days after this weekend. We are not yet ready to tell you an exact date, but we will announce it as soon as we have it and are sure about it.

 

A weekend without Tanki and boosted funds — nobody expected that to happen. We have prepared a selection of our resources where you can spend time with other tankers while the game is not available:

 

• Forum — https://en.tankiforum.com
  To log in to the forum you need to use your in-game account. Unfortunately, as the game doesn’t work, you cannot log in. But for all the tankers who are already authenticated, we have disabled our activity check plugin, so you can keep chatting on the forum even without playing 3 battles in matchmaking to confirm activity of your account, as it is not possible to play the game at the moment.

• eSports livestreams — https://www.twitch.tv/team/tankionline
  eSports matches take place on a special server that is not connected to the main game, so the tournament keeps going and almost every evening you can watch TOP teams playing, choose your favourite one and root for it in Finals! «Twitch Drops» system is disabled as of now as it cannot issue Ultra Containers when the game is unavailable.

  We recommend all the tankers to check out our Discord server. It is a place where largest number of tankers are gathered. You can find Tanki friends and talk to each other at any time. If you don't have Discord installed, we highly recommend downloading it. On Monday, November 28th, we will launch a small special event there. The prizes include Ultra Containers that will be credited to the winners' accounts on the same day the game is back.

 

Together with you we keep waiting for the game to be available again and hope this happens soon as possible.

So the software from the special server will be mirrored over to the rebuilding/new game servers and then separated individually to be used as a cluster so there will be redundancy and automatic failover should a server fall?

Looks like "few days" meaning not tomorrow nor the day after tomorrow. So probably challenge II of November will not be completed unless TO succeed in bringing the game up on 30.11

I diagree , 2 week dowtime in  a month is major if they want to retain any remaining players they better give good compensations.

I watched taspens 1 year old review vid of blunderbuss and its range was so op back then, now they nerf it to the ground since ftp players got it in the mini game, makes me mad that they nerf items the moment ftp players get thier hands on it. i have been waiting to get that augment for a year.

whats the point in giving people augemnts when theres already much better ones, comming out each month, you shldnt have to wait years to try out an augemnt only to find out its nerfed. give it to us straight away when it releases. 

no wonder juggernaut is popular. smart free to players play this mode as they dont need to vs 1v1 a enmy with broken augemnts if they get to be juggernait 

ill take evything i can get or i will just go for another 1 year break

every game in corona time rise even in my country e sports rise in corona time but this game fall down .

their main preoccupation is MONEY. They will do whatever they can to grab as much money as possible from kids.

That's why the game has always changed towards demanding more supplies, more upgrades, etc, etc. The PRO battles are almost irrelevant these days. 

Those are the ones you can play without having to PAY too much in terms of increasing your tank capabilities. They are NOT interested in that. 

That's why they periodically launch new turrets that are COMPLETELY OUT OF BALANCE. So people will have to SPEND MONEY to buy the same stuff.

 

@fire199 excellent comment. RIGHT ON. Their "philosophy" is purely commercial, of course. They don't care about older players who are just playing the game for years without buying supplies. They want unbalanced weapons being created on purpose,  so kids will buy and upgrade them to the maximum power right away. 

Tanki used to be quite fun, in spite of the enormous amount of censorship displayed by pathetic moderators. But this was several years ago. Nowadays it is all about money.

This UNAVAILABILITY is quite strange, though. They use the word "accident"....but never ever really talked about it.

All right, you can play on the Tankionline test, but even here there are problems because for example it doesn't let me buy both the premium account and the battle pass, it doesn't let me access the shop and validate my email because for the validation of the latter the link is related to the normal game. So you are penalized both for completing the special missions and challenges, leaving out the big difference you have in battle with players who have played it often and are therefore armed with weapons that a new member cannot have.

HOWEVER, EVEN THE TEST SERVER CRASHES SOMETIMES.
