Time to reveal all the secrets…

 

Tanki Online has its own laboratory. Under the close supervision of scientists, incredible experiments are conducted — new tank items are grown and sublimated.

 

We also have to admit that something irreparable has happened… A particularly dangerous virus has been leaked. According to our calculations, as early as this Friday, at 2 AM UTC on December 16th, there will be a mass infection of players!

 

But we have good news. We managed to develop an antidote. It is not a simple task to deliver it to the mechanisms of each tank and we won’t be able to do it without your help. 

 

We are launching a new event called «Tanki Online and Loss of control».

 

How to take part

 

To take part in the «Tanki Online and Loss of control» event, you will need to purchase the «Special access» offer.

 

Once you have the access pass, you will be added to one of the two factions — «Zombies» or «Immunes».

 

 

 

If you are not satisfied with the distribution, you can change your faction by purchasing the special «Defector» offer, that includes:

 

• Change of faction

• 30 000 crystals

 

With the start of the event, the special website will be launched. There you will see your personal progress and the progress of your faction.

 

Event rules

 

After distribution, the main task of both factions is to get as many Test Tubes as possible. «What are these Test Tubes for?» you may ask. That’s simple, they are the only way for Zombies to transfer their infected blood and for Immunes to transfer the antidote. 

 

Test Tubes are the special event currency. You can get it for completing a set of special missions, purchase them in the Shop for crystals, or buy a special offer for Tankoins.

 

 

Special missions

 

Only players who purchased the «Special access» offer will get access to a set of special missions.

 

We have prepared a lot of them, and each new day you will get a new mission. You have until the end of the event to complete them. The more missions you complete, the more personal prizes you will get and the more chances your faction will have of winning!

 

You will have time to complete the missions and get Test Tubes from 2 AM UTC on December 16th till 2 AM UTC on January 9th.

 

IMPORTANT: Each day of the event you get 1 new mission. All missions are available till January 9th.

• Mission: Explosive Headshot

• Task: Destroy 15 tanks using critical damage in any matchmaking battles.

• Mission: Rotten Trophies

• Task: Earn 5000 crystals in any matchmaking battles. 

• Reward: 1 Test Tube

 

• Mission: School of Survival

• Task: Earn 1000 battle points in any matchmaking battles.

• Mission: «It Won't Hurt»

• Task: Get a new rank. 

• Reward: 1 Test Tube

• Task: Use repair kit 50 times in any matchmaking battles.

• Task: Destroy 1 tank using mines in any matchmaking battles.

Rewards

 

There are multiple sets of prizes! A lot to fight for!

 

Team competition

 

The faction whose members have the most Test Tubes by the end of the event wins and gets the main prize - the Freeze «Legacy» skin.

 

 

• All Test Tubes that a player earns from the start of the event are counted in favour of the current faction of the player.

• When a player changes faction, all Test Tubes that a player earned from the start of the event are moved to the new faction together with the player.

 

Participation of each player is necessary for victory!

 

Individual competition

 

• Each participant gets a set of personal tasks. Completing them contributes towards your personal progress in the event. 

• The more Test Tubes you have (the more tasks are completed), the more prizes you can get.

• A player gets rewards for each task that is marked as completed at the end of the event (all prizes are mentioned on the website a lot of Containers, crystals, supplies, batteries, the «Vulture» Mk7 module with protection from Scorpion, the «Helios» augment for Ricochet, the «Vacuum shells» augment for Thunder, units of the «Nuclear energy» supply, and a Skin Container.

• At the moment of a faction change, the player's personal progress is reset to zero. Test Tubes earned before the faction change are not taken into account in the player's personal progress, and completed tasks are marked as incomplete.

 

Important: All prizes are issued after the end of the event.

I have one query regarding personal rewards system.

 

 

For example, if I have completed my mission of day 1 it means I have also completed Level 1. Now my question is if I will complete by Day 2 mission ,Will it also mean that I have completed Level 2 or it will be recorded as 1/2 i.e I have to complete day 3 mission also in order to redeem the Level 2 mark ?

It doesn't matter, they said that Test Tubes are moved over if a player switches factions. Say you have already claimed some of the missions, and you had 12 Test Tubes - Switching factions would grant your new faction those 12 Test Tubes, and remove them from your old faction.

21 tube = 5* 4  + 1 = 600k * 4 + 200k = 2600k = 2.6M crystal.

while as legend 92 with about 5M crystal w max garage, I think not worth wasting that much crystal,
even I have nothing to buy with that 5M crystal (already enough supplies,)

team win is meh, freeze lc is like freeze SE, not so attractive.

free helio for everyone, even though helio is already common with so many other OP augments,

which make the whole event not worthy it compared to challenge or tanki fund.

For me, the most interesting reward is that skin container. But, to get it, need plenty of crystals... And 700 tankoins to participate. No thanks. Better waste 700 tankoins for battle pass. I win a skin container and ultra + normal containers.

I come back from a 9 month hiatus from this game, and this is the first new event I see. (Arcade was ongoing at the time I came back).

 

Overall, apart from the 700 tankoin price tag, this event looks good. Although you can only get up to Level 24 from the missions alone, but hey, you can get 5 more levels by spending 600k more crystals, which if you have an excess of them with nothing to spend your crystals on then it should be good, but personally I'd save mine for the next big sale (Christmas sales). 

 

Although getting a kill with a mine is probably gonna be harder than I expect, and I think the same will be true for destroying 15 tanks with crit damage. And if you're Legend rank then ranking up would probably take a while, unless you're extremely close to ranking up anyways. (A solid few hours/days, depending on how much you play).

 

A free skin from the event is interesting though. Too bad I don't use Freeze, unfortunately.

 

Overall, cool event, will be interested to see how it will turn out

At your rank, you could wait for the christmas/new  years sale and buy mk7 vulture for between 190k-200k crystals. If that's the only thing you want out of this event, you might as well use crystals unless you dont have crystals but have extra tankcoins.
