Idea to assist with sabotagers in MM battle

I am not even sure this idea is technically possible, but:

A flag carrier should have considerably more pushing power, but only against their OWN team.

In this way, it remains fair for the opposing team but one's own team cannot completely hinder the progress of the flag. This behaviour is unfair to ALL the team and is generally difficult to capture for reporting unless one is recording all the time.

Since Tanki is responsible for attempting to make MM as fair as possible, but it is not possible to prevent such players from joining, another solution is required and this is my best attempt at doing that.

Would be very difficult to implement. Devs can't even make dead hulls slide easier (due to some quirky way in which friction in tracks is calculated), so how do you expect them to make it so that the same hull is pushed in different ways by two identical hulls, if they're on different teams?

Is it even a sabotage problem, or an incompetent teammates problem? If it's the latter, I feel like it's part of the challenge to not only fight the enemy, but also cooperate with your team and not crash into one another all the time.

Both happen. And both make it less fun.

Valid

Sounds like a pretty good idea to me. Whenever pulling a flag, your own teamates are the major cases where you get blocked and get killed in the process.

Could you please explain what the "valid" tag indicates? It's not an invalid idea, but still awaiting review? Do valid topics get reviewed in time?

Idk how exactly devs handle many things so i can't be sure, but if possible they could activate only when user has flag heavyweight augment. But i am not sure how hard it will be to assign second augments to hull and then reassign

Valid means that the idea is original, does not break any rules, and will be forwarded to developers for review. It doesn't mean anything else, and many valid ideas stay "valid" for years.

You can check the I&S guide for full details.

It means its been approved I guess by the mods and admin. Do be aware, that the devs can still reject the idea. If that happens, then the idea would likely be tagged "declined". Trust me, over the years, I've seen quite a few ideas that were once valid then get declined. However, if they too approve the idea, then it might stay valid or get a new tag to indicate this.
