New hulls and new mechanics based on classic Tanki Online elements!

Hello tankers. I recently posted two threads here on the Tanki Online Forum: one about the "Drones-Turrets" project and another about "Armor and weight to be added to the tank when equipping the turret". But I ended up not clarifying the purpose of these projects. So let's go:

I've followed the evolution of Tanki Online for many years and I've noticed that new elements have been created, many of which are very OP. Recently I started to design ideas, projects with the intention of bringing diversity to the game, without creating new elements that would bring imbalance, mess to the game as is happening recently.

So I'm going to present each one of them that were thought to be applied collectively with each other bringing a possible diversity and at the same time, balance to the game:

- Turret-Drones

I won't give too many details because I already made a topic about this project, so if anyone wants to see all the details, please visit there. But in short, they are drones with mini turrets, each drone-turret having its mechanics similar to each turret in the game, but having a very low power compared to the turret of the same mechanic, serving only as a support in battle. (This idea was rejected by a moderator. He said it would make the game more complex, and that the developers' intention is to make the game simpler. Isn't ironic hahaha)

- Armor and weight on turrets

The idea is that by equipping a certain turret, a certain amount of armor and weight (approximately half of what a Wasp has) was applied to the tank along with the armor and hull weight, these combined changes would affect the acceleration parameters of the hull. - Now ideas that have not yet been posted by me:

- New hulls

I recently imagined several designs, and I wonder if there are really needs for some of these hulls. I imagined that the "height" parameter and the fact that the base of the turret is in the central region of some hulls and in others, could not be more diversified.

And I also think that the overdrive should be the same for each body" (which the Dictator has), that the differential should only consist of the parameters found in them and nothing else. Or that the overdrives were definitely removed.

- I didn't imagine light hulls because looking at their designer I realized that there is nothing else deferential to be released in this category, they all have low stature, all have the base of the turret close to the central region of the hull.

Hopper: It's a hovertank and has smooth movement like Hornet.

Vespa: It is a caterpillar tank that has a precise displacement that requires a lot of maneuverability.

Hornet: It is a caterpillar tank that moves smoothly as mentioned before.

And no other combination would be possible within my knowledge, other than changing the parameters of armor, weight, acceleration, etc. (An idea presented below takes advantage of this possibility!)

Now for the medium hulls, I imagined 9 new hulls similar to Viking, Hunter and Dictator.

The Viking is short in stature and the base of the turret is in the central region of the hull.

The Hunter has medium height and the base is also in the central region of the hull.

The Dictator has a tall stature and the base is not in the central region of the hull.

I imagined hulls with the following parameter combinations:

- "P01" (Project 01)

Medium hull with caterpillar. Short stature like Viking, turret base off midbody like Dictator.

- "P02"

Medium bodywork with tracks. Medium height as Hunter, mid-body turret base as Dictator.

- "P03"

Medium body with drops. Tall stature as Dictator, mid-body turret base as Viking and Hunter.

- "P04" or "Langskip"

A hovertank version of the Viking similar in design to the prototype Ares hull that was featured in V-LOG 208.

- "P05" or "Artemis"

A hovertank version of the Hunter (I think the Ares hull prototype designer that appeared in V-LOG 208 would go down well. Just without a cannon on the front of the hull)

- "P06" or "Cruiser"

A hovertank version of Dictator

- "P07"

A hovertank version of the "PO1"

- "P08"

A hovertank version of the "P02"

- "P09"

A hovertank version of the "P03"

- Now the heavy

- "P10" or "Fortress"

Heavy hull with caterpillar. Tall stature as Dictator, turret base in mid-hull region as Titan.

- "P11" or "Conqueror"

Heavy hull with caterpillar. Tall stature like the Dictator. In fact, very similar design to Dictator.

- "P12"

A hovertank version of the Titan.

- "P13" or "Mastodon"

A hovertank version of Mammoth

- "P14"

A hovertank version of the "Fortaleza"

- "P15"
A hovertank version of the "Conqueror"

In my opinion, the average hovertanks that are in the game should be exchanged, they don't even look like war tanks.

- Now my last idea:

Skins being replaced by "Special Modifications" intended to be more than cosmetic items (following the idea that each turret has its own armor and weight that varies according to the level of equipment improvement). At each special modification the parameters vary. This would be an option to vary the parameters of certain equipment. Examples:

- Railgun and Hornet Mk7+

Default parameters

- Railgun XT (From Tanki X)

Turret Armor: 30% Greater than the Mk7+

Turret weight: 30% greater than the Mk7+

Turret rotation speed: 20% slower than the Mk7+

- Hornet XT (From Tanki X)

Hull armor: 30% greater than the Mk7+

Hull weight: 30% greater than the Mk7+

Hull Acceleration: 20% lower than the Mk7+

- Railgun GT

Turret Armor: 20% less than the Mk7+

Turret weight: 20% less than the Mk7+

Turret traverse speed: 30% higher than Mk7+

- GT Hornet

Hull armor 20% less than the Mk7+

Hull weight 20% less than Mk7+

Acceleration: 30% higher than the Mk7+

 

- Other suggestions:

Protection modules should have their protection reduced (I think a Mk7+ with 20% defense is already in good taste)

As already mentioned above, overdrives should become standards as they were in the beginning. Or not having overdrives at all.

Status effects should be removed from the game, keeping only the heating and cooling effect.

Changes should be removed.

Equipment should have only modifications and no micro-upgrades with each modification.

They already have been looked upon, so there is no need to make a new topic with the same Idea. If you wish to elaborate further on your topic, you can do in the same previous main topic or post, by either editing the message or creating a new post in the same topic.

Please use 1 Idea per topic. If you have multiple Ideas, then you may very well post a topic with a new Idea each day.
