Well, yeah, you have to purchase a special offer to take part in such events.

These events let you get a lot of items for a much cheaper price than if you would be opening thousands of Ultra Containers to get them.

That's how it works.

 

This one is even less "P2W" than Loss of control, because here we give you a way to get event currency by catching special goldboxes.

And like in Loss of Control, you can also purchase event currency for crystals that you can earn for free by playing the game.

Well,

1. The application fee is not cheap for F2P players
2. Only the biggest spenders will get the top rewards. After all, no matter how much a person can grind, no one can beat the power of a credit card. F2P players should be able to get some rewards though, although most of them are just filler rewards

So is that P2W? Absolutely. That's how your business model works after all. I get that. But can't you at least cover it up a bit? At least try to make it looks less desperate. And definitely not hosting multiple of them in a row. It's literally screaming:

Of course. This event is not to let F2P players get skins and augments for free, but to decrease the price so they can find it acceptable to pay for such rewards, if they want to get those rewards.

definitely not making it so that 95% of rewards are mere supplies (not to mention that it consists of useless mines). there could have been at least some animated paint in first steps so that it is at least somewhat worth spending 700 tankoins on it. or anything other than useless supplies which players who spend them reasonably have plenty of.

First of all, prize’s r not that valuable, fire status augments? Devs r just laughing at our faces atp, in loss of control event player was able to purchase cells for crystals, now it’s not crys anymore only tankoin purchase, so u see my point? We players build this game, treat us properly, it’s us why all u devs and idk who u r, are here now today and existing, this game has no future without us! Let that sink in your minds!

Do you really think that it's a good idea to make events for "team competition"?

It's obvious, that we can't do anything individually, even if I get the most of Shamrock it doesn't mean anything for the team.

The one who gets to the lucky team will get the "main price", it's unfair.

These events good to make your players crazy but nothing else.

The point is to encourage big spenders to compete themselves, ideally keep buying the bundle for Shamrocks.

The fact that the rest Shamrocks on team change is intentionally designed to introduce switching cost and hopefully diacourage big spenders from abandon ship

Ofc the event is P2W because buyers are the ones that keep the game alive and the point is to get expensive stuff guaranteed after reaching X point and not spending thousands of ultras hoping you'll get something.

F2P just save tankoins as simple as that. Don't see a problem.

Marcus, dude, this deduction of yours is not even remotely close to the reality.

Concerning the ''loss of control'' event, for 700 tankoins, just by completing missions and let's not even talk about the usual goodies (crys, sups etc), you could receive helios (broken augment at that time) and vulture mk7 (low rankers abused of this). For 600k crystals more, you could get the vacuum augment for thunder (an insanely OP augment which is still broken until today).

Now, concerning the current event, it will last 11 days and just by completing missions, we'll be able to get ''salamander shells'' for scorpion (which is not OP tbh). For 600k more, you can get ''sizzling field'' for ricochet (A decent augment but definitely not an OP one).

So, which one is more 'P2W''?

Haha. How much shamrocks are you expecting to get in a gold box? It is usually 1, ONLY ONE. Ok, let's be generous and assume that it gives you 10 per gold. (Assuming that you paid the 600k crystals), you must catch 17 SHAMROCK gold boxes to be able to get the ''pulsar'' augment for firebird (I didn't consider nuclear sups as broken items).

I hope that you realise how difficult this is, realistically.

@Marcus Don't even attempt to make a case for this event being less ''P2W'' than the ''loss of control'' event, for, there are none that can be made.

I do agree to the first part of your message. But saying that catching 17 gold boxes in 11 days is something "difficult" - nah, I do not agree. Of course it is not 10 units of Shamrock per gold box. Which is by definition, a P2W event.

I'm not against this type of events. They do me no harm. I'm not gonna be part of it simply because it doesn't have things that I want (namely Vulcan augments)

But you may want to reflect to your PMs that hosting a consecutive P2W events is properly not the best idea ever. It's literally telling the F2P players that "suck it, you are part of the product. And all I care is the paying customers". Although that's the truth, the "product" is not supposed to figure that out. Or at least give them enough incentive to make them stop thinking about it, which is something your company failed to do for a very long time.

At this point I don't pay much attention to these P2W events. Not because they're bad events, but because the reward is too low to risk hundreds of tankoins on.

Paying 700 Tankoins for random augments when we already have over 20 per turret and a 1/3 chance to get Firebird LC.. 
Not going to talk about the new upcoming set of skins which will be available for both 270€ which is ridiculous. This game has been declining for years giving us p2w events with disgusting and overpriced rewards.
