In an older version of Tanki Online, about a year ago, there was an option in the Battle Lists where you could see Battle Map names (for example Aleksandrovsk) and Battle Names (the name a player gives to a battle). That option is no longer there, which can cause confusion if you want to join a Pro Battle. Now it is more complicated, as you have to go through the entire battle list to find the map you are looking for. Most of the battles are either in Russian or named whatever the player wants to name their battle. I think bringing back this option would be time-saving and improve the appearance of the Battle Lists.

This already exists I believe, as you can see the original map name plus the name given by player in case.

Yeah I know I can reach New York from London via the Pacific Ocean, but that is just pointless and it takes more time.

I am talking about how the Battle List would be just not as complicated, providing less effort to get the map you are looking for, even for those who prefer to play on certain maps.

I don't understand, what takes more time? If anything, it would take more time to implement this change. Plus, having both the title and map name on screen at the same time feels way more convenient than having to click some setting to switch between the two.

Opinions and trends change over the years. A feature that was implemented years ago may later be considered redundant and removed. It's part of the reason why we don't accept ideas for bringing back removed features.
