I didn't bother to equip Striker prot even once because of Hydra. It's so easy to dodge and even if you don't dodge it tickles you for like 5 seconds until you dodge or the enemy starts randomly missing. You still have like 50% HP left.

Idk if they need to nerf plasma torch I'm talking about hydra.

I mean that Hydra is as "overpowered" as Plasma torch. its just a fun augment that is not OP at all. I'm yet to find a Hydra that KILLED ME. im using no striker prot and i find them every 2 matches or something. You encountered striker players that are way above your skill level and now you think Hydra is OP.

Nah it ain't just me who agrees that hydra is op. Most players of my community who own it archive ridiculous scores. Low reload plus no lock on make it too strong.

Kind of expected, isn't it?

1. Make an aug OP on purpose and put a premium price tag on it.
2. Over time, gradually nerf it for the sake of "balancing"
3. Introduce another OP aug with its super-duper exclusive status and another premium price tag
   1. Meanwhile, nerf the previous aug to the ground
4. Repeat...

This is how Tanki makes its money these days. And you know what? Many people buy this idea.

 

Honest, I'm not surprised if one day the Pulsar lineup receive nerfs after nerfs and becomes obsolete, then a new exotic lineup takes its place.

We indeed start to see this pattern more often.  It's unfortunate to conclude that they care more about the money than rightly balancing the game. But it is to be expected.
