What are you on about bro?? Have you even entered the game at all? Or did you just decide to read this announcement and then proceeded to completely misunderstand it?
There is no pass or anything, you just need to complete a few missions that take less than an hour and then you get 30 days premium and 50 ultra containers (+15 if you do the special missions for this weekend)
Please get informed better next time before coming here and making a comment...

Where you get any idea of a monthly pass from?

 

All you need for premium + 50 UCs is to play for like max 1 hour (for me took 3 battles to do all) and then you can get also from Ultra Weekend (+1 UC from the premium mission, not counting if you don't have a BP)

 

There is absolutely nothing even remotely close to a "monthly pass", if you mean battle pass you are + - 2 years late

Decided to enter the game after a long time to claim the TOA rewards. Here is my experience:

• Most of the time, I got placed in an already losing team (0-5). My team won in only 1 out of the 6-7 matches I played
• Game still crashes on loading screen, need to refresh everytime
• Majority of players are campers, it is not fun to use short range turrets
• Opened 60 ultra containers just to get basic crystals/supplies, useless legendary paints and shot effects, hull immunites for mk0 hulls

Game is still trash. I didn't even bother to complete the remaining missions & I won't be playing anytime soon. RIP 30 days premium

The only positive thing I can say is that the mission completion screen at the end of battles is helpful.

You actually think i have a 0GS conbo at legend 100+? Ofc not. This trash game can't even display GS correctly. I'll keep camping because if i attack i keep getting oneshotted by floating Hack 50% prot ain't helping. No reason to not camp. This was very poor performance by me, i usually get 900+ score every time i camp. way more score than attackers lol

Yep, campers are a plague, I don't think it will be stoppable, maybe when detected camping those campers receive only 2-3 points for everything. Nah, not gonna happen. I'd recommend not to play so much and/or even leave the game..

Pointless, only one person can cap a flag, so if a Crisis/Hopper user who can quickly take 6/7 flags gets all the score, where's the incentive to try?

Oh, I heard this so many times. Those campers always say "I'm defending the flag" as an excuse when all they care about is their K/D.

Look, people will act very differently between the two. If a player actually cares about the flag, they will chase it, literally stand on the flag using its massive weight as a blocker, or return it. Campers? Well, all they do is find a cover near the flag, Poke, shoot, and repeat. Some one grabbed their flag? Don't care.

To try what? Cap the flag? Yes, that's exactly what the mode is supposed to be. Capture The Flag!!!!!! You finally get it.

Also, don't forget about other actions. Killing a flag carrier. Returning a flag. Assist kills (killing an enemy who is targeting your friendly flag carrier). Healing.

What is defending team in ASL supposed to do, go into enemy base and kill enemies as someone sneaks and caps?

You are making a lot of assumptions here. Those are just initial ideas that will properly never get implemented.

No one is saying that "You will get -50% score penalty from kills if you are staying within 10m from spawn. And this applies to all game modes". But ASL is indeed imbalanced in nature, to begin with.

 

As for CTF, no one said there has to be one and only one guy in the team who is capping the flag. And certainly, anyone, camping or not, can kill the flag carrier or assist. In fact, the latter tend to be the people who are attacking together with the guy who managed to touch the flag.

ASL is the mode where you either lose hard or win hard with nothing inbetween
