Augment Visuals

It would be cool if different augments had different visuals (separate from shot effect) that would differentiate them even more while adding more visual diversity, in a way that the Tomato turret has rotten tomatoes as critical hit

 

 

In example:

Vacuum shells should instead of being an explosion have an effect of more like an implosion as it's based on a vacuum (although a "liquid" vacuum is nonsense), which basically causesthe surrounding air to rush inward to fill the vacuum

 

Incendiary core (and Fire thunder, smoky, Shaft, Hammer...) could have a hint of fire in the explosion/projectile while <<Freezing>> augments 

should have a slight fog indicating the low temperature

 

EMP (and maybe Stun) for turrets like Thunder, Smoky, Gauss especially or the recently added Magnum's EMP Core could have a lightning EMP effect in the explosion while turrets like Railgun could have slight lightning on the projectile

 

Pulsar could have a vortex effect (it states so in the description that the augment creates a vortex)

 

Hyperspeed Railgun could have a bigger impact indication depending on distance, same but more importantly for Thunder/Gauss as the whole sense is built up damage over distance with more speed > higher kinetic energy > bigger explosion and in reverse for other augments as I assume the damage dropoff represents decreasing penetration ability over distance

 

 

Additionally, there should be an option to turn them off to prevent perfomance issues

Yes! I'll edit my post to contain it aswell, thank you very much for the idea, I forgot to think about it
