getting banned by moderator, even with valid reason

basically, i get shot, and killed, when im behind a wall, a universal term for safety from direct damage weapons like smoky, railgun, saft, gauss etc. then i call upon battle moderator, and this piece of trash enters the mach, bans me, an innocent player for a day, and leaves.

 

i guess these people are selected by hazel?

You getting hit behind walls is normal, it's happening because of lag. Your movements are delayed on your opponents' screens. Affects every game, not just Tanki.

The servers seem to be in a pretty bad state currently, so this effect is even stronger than it used to be.

I agree with @Son_Goku, lag was the culprit here, happens all the time. Has happened to me so many times that even it was a hacker, I would have just dismissed it as lag.

The battle mod punished you for practically falsely reporting and technically wasting their time when they can be dealing with a more serious violation.

To be fair, there are tools that make you lag artificially. But that goes beyond just hitting you behind walls then, people who use such tools hit you like your tank is 10 times its actual size.

It's pretty noticeable once you encounter your first one.
