Events like Halloween, New Year, and Tanki’s birthday should not be long like a month. They should be no longer than 2 weeks. In this way, the excitement for the events increases.

I do prefer longer events, especially for elite passes, gives me more time to complete it. 14 days for 900 stars is very tight for an average player. Especially prefer weekend waves of missions rather than all missions coming out straight away. Keeps you more occupied.

Just play ASL. Finished challenge from 0 to 300 in 4 hours lol. Both teams usually filled with buyers that team up with each another and destroy weaker players and match ends in like a minute or two

Do me a favor : Disable overdrives during those events mode, especially Hopper's ones

@Opex-Rah  well since you're already, why not lend an ear to this tanker?

since there are healing capabilities for each type of turret ( melee range- isida ; long range - shaft ; mid range- thunder; ) except short range turret, are there any plans to close this gap? ( a healing ricochet maybe ?)
also, when are contracts coming to the game? im really looking forward to it and its rewards ?

I think people simply get bored of having "the same old thing" for a whole month. Having winter holiday celebrations for a month (or even more) is not too weird, but Halloween is just one event, so stretching that to a month is odd. Tanki's birthday and Tankers' Day is even more odd, since it's a single day event.

I like what you guys started doing with gradually releasing holiday stuff throughout the event (like special missions and now even shop bundles), but I think the biggest complaint with these long events is just that it feels weird.

Actually I have a better idea.

Have one of the modes be: augments, drones, protection modules disabled.

Overdrives and upgrades (optional).

And supplies enabled (damage boost supply 50%, armor boost supply 50%, speed boost supply 30%).

 

Also it'd be nice on a small map with not so many players on it.

Idk, for people that actually play a variety of games, I value events where we get a good amount of time, even then I usually procrastinate and do them on the last day for some, or instantly on others. Either way, having a wider time spam helps me out a lot.

Could you imagine a 3 day Elite pass to get 900 stars? Continuous complaining and we will eventually get one of these. Then only the ASL speedrunners, nolifers and star buyers will be able to complete these. Not a fan of this case at all.

@Maths; out of curiosity, what games do you play, just want to try to understand why you prefer short events, but I want to think that this view has been generated by your game standards.

Imo, an event, as repeated like Halloween should last over 2 weekends at minimum. So a Friday till and including the 2nd Sunday. 10 days that would be.

That said, there may also be other events releasing, i.e the famous trick or treat event which may start later. It would actually be nice to have game decorations change for a good month. Many people start prepping their irl halloween decorations at around now tbh so I see nothing wrong in that aspect.

I think the Elite pass is a bit of an exception here. No one is complaining that longer events allow for more time for its completion. But if the time given to complete an Elite pass is tied to duration of events, then I fully support having longer events. I don't think that's the case though - the current pass ends in 16 hours, and that's not tied to any event at all, right?

@Opex-Rah Here is an opinion.

I have put my opinion here as it seems you actually reply here, so a reply would be of great benefit to all, especially if it is a positive one regarding the game and it's negative issues.  

Why do you keep bringing out more updates instead of "FIXING" the ongoing major problems that are affecting the game.

Forget MM because you will never be able to rectify that unless you scrap it and start all over again.

There are many, many fixes that need doing but these 3 are in my opinion needed now.

1 Server lag is off the scale when you do any event.

2 When will you fix the constant no-damage bug affecting magnum and most probably most turrets in every battle, for me magnum seems the worst by far.

3 Why have the notifications and players names not been removed completely from the battle screen, not put elsewhere on the screen but "removed".  

You @Opex-Rah seem to be in charge of TO as we perceive it, so surely you can comment and at the very least fix number 3 which should be the easiest to do in the shortest time frame, as it is very much needed because players can't see anything because of this text wall blocking the view of battle.

As for the length of the event, if your going to make it long then make the missions challenging and make sure they come as close as possible for most players to be challenging enough to merit the lengthy time frame to complete them.

Example. Currently the challenge as it stands is always completed with well over a week to spare, meaning no more incentive to do anything not even daily missions, which lets be honest only yield nerfed containers.

Your game has many flaws @Opex-Rah it's time to fix the major ones and give the players a better game than we currently have now. 

Just a quick edit. As another prime example to the time frame of these challenges/event missions.

I completed all of these in about 4 hrs (with down time in-between) and taken into account the lag and no damage that affected me badly.

The rest of the daily missions will take about 2 hrs and will also complete the weeklies.

I must note that I did all 3 missions at once in the autumn festival one as I never intended to do any of them, so they built up.

Big shout out for the "EDIT" feature.

One very last and very important point that I no you can fix asap.

This screen above is of a low account, which after I have completed the weekly missions will be unused for a substantial amount of time, if ever used again.

The reason is I will rank way to fast to be able to upgrade my garage due to lack of crystals. An easy fix would be to increase the XP needed to rank and give more cry than xp at the end of battles.

This one iirc Is tied to the current autumn fest event. And all have had varying durations so it's not as concrete yet.

For me personally, certain events kind of have their atmosphere and "soul" like Halloween, Winter & Xmas and New years, April fools day. They feel more special  then regular events because they play into the season and just are more enjoyable with better decorations, events, etc., So I can imagine myself playing those for several weeks. It also depends on the events prepared. For example, I would be inclined to play more if there was something different, like make the special mode on different maps that aren't on the MM list, I genuinely get tired of playing the same old maps over and over again, bring some short bridge smoky wasp events on weekend, some XP/BP on Deck9/Magadan, or some no drones no augments on maps like Esplanade or Subway. Really miss the old maps a lot, and some good max 4v4 action. They used to be so much fun. Bring some old school Tanki on these old maps, old formats like XP/BP, at least on events because MM just feels so rigid.

You say that you want them to focus on priority. But this is far from it.
