Stun missile nerf discussion.

Stun missile has been nerfed a lot of time ago, and now is much less of use.

As you have seen, the stun missile is much of less usable right now. You only have super low chance crits to stun your enemy for just half a second, which has made it pretty much not worth of using.

What turret are you talking about here? Striker's Stunning Missiles augment stuns the player for 1.5 seconds with a decently high critical hit rate right now (as long as you have high accuracy).

Not only was it nerfed a lot, but it was completely made to never be used again and I think that's outrageous!

Before, you had control, you based your battles on tactics... You chose when you could attempt a successful stun and when you would take a direct shot.

Now you simply have to rely on luck, the stun rate is simply rubbish, all other turrets can crit faster and more often. 

That's not what I bought

I think you don't use Striker...

Against 1v1 more than 70% enemies will give critical shots before you or they will get 2 more critics than you.

I'm afraid I have seen plenty of stuns still by stun strikers.

Now, I no longer use it, literally hammer stun has garanteed stun on third shot but this aug no longer has garanteed stun except for critical damage, they nerfed stun missile for striker too much

Or maybe stun hammer needs a nerf instead

I can imagine hammer losing it's guaranteed 3rd shot application whilst maintaining it's naturally good crit rate.

Even so... You let the Strikers augment, with random critical shots... That's to be against strategy. Before we had some strategy for each enemy. Now each shot it's just "I hope get a critic, I hope get a critic".

Ridiculous.

Still that removes all the tactic from your gameplay, and you instead rely on luck, because even if you rush to your enemy with rocket spam, you still won't know if you stun your enemy or not.

imo at least every FOURTH rocket should give a guaranteed stun, instead of a crit one. That way it would make you play off tactics, and not off your luck, while not crippling the mechanic too far.

Agree, I'm starting a topic now about others turrets, like Magnum and shaft. Mainly shaft with augment RAPID-FIRE MODE, about 95%... In 3 shot, 1 will be a critical shot.
