Why the bad luck? It's not like i'm cursed and whatsoever

I'm getting tired of getting good augments for turrets i explicity i don't like (in short, hate) wherereas my most beloved turrets have the worst luck and most of times when i get augments for those turrets i get underperforming augments... so i'm asking why i'm having such a bad time to get at least deccent stuff for turrets that i play the most.... I've opened lots of containers and for example, smoky, the most recent legendary augments were those that were once crystal augments, and by extension means they don't perform that good even if they're legendary ranked aguments for smoky (wich i have them, autocannon, cryo and incendiary)

So the question boils down to "why i'm having a hard time to get decent or good things for smoky?" for example between other turrets...

Tfw RNG hits like a truck. 

In case you aren't familiar with the term, RNG stands for Random Number Generation. In other words, you are subjected to chances you have no way of influencing and changing. Rather, there is a very small chance you do get the item you want. Chances of that happening however are very low - hence 'good luck' happens a lot less often than 'bad luck'. We all struggle with bad luck, most players don't get from containers what they want. I am also unlucky when it comes to container rewards. It is just part of this game. 

Players that share screenshots of rare container openings (e.g., skins, OP augments) are just very lucky. But most of the time, it is because they buy tons of container keys, so that they have more opportunities to get good rewards from the containers. These are often buyers that spend tons of coins (and probably real-time currencies). 

My advice to you: be patient and do not open any Ultra Containers when there are no interesting items in the exotic pool for you. Do not be tempted to spend money to buy more containers: chances of getting a good item are still incredibly low, which makes it tempting to buy even more keys. This is called gambling. It can be very addicting, so I advise you to simply not partake in that. 
Best is to continue playing with the augments and items you did get from containers, and wait for a lucky container drop to come your way.

If it's just a topic to talk about your frustration, I'm fine with that. Discussion does help. Every time I get Ultra Mines, some part of me just dies inside, and venting out to my fellow tankers is sometimes therapeutic.

But if you are seriously asking the question, then lemme ask you this: what answer do you think you'll get? "IT'S RIGGED!!!" or "Yes you're cursed" or maybe "you're not a Taylor Swift fan, that's illegal".

In any case, there nothing you can do about it. Well... you can't do anything about the randomness factor, but you can perhaps use the candles that our dear @RB04 sent or even become a Taylor Swift fan. It's difficult.
