Stars Challenge Accepted Hyperion XT First Place Reward

For the challenge accepted event in tanki where the player in first with the most stars gets the hyperion XT drone, if the player hasn't bought the hyperion drone yet and doesn't have it but still wins the hyperion XT, do they get the drone for free as well without having to pay the 320000 crystals for it or do they only get the XT skin?

XT Drone is a separate item instead of it being an option like Turret/Hull skins.
If you win XT Drone you won't get the non-XT version for free.

XT drones consume like x3 more supplies while having THE SAME STATS besides giving you +1 GS at MAX which makes it so you have 10000GS instead of 9999GS.

XT Drones were NEVER in containers. Only once in a test server containers from what I remember. Not sure though.

People use XT Drone for a flex (even though without the standout GS you can barely notice the "XT" parts. also you're getting laughed at by a lot of people for obvious reasons lol)

XT drone is not a skin. It's a separate drone.
If you win a challenge accepted by earning the most stars, you win the XT drone (either Crisis XT or Hyperion XT). The drone is then automatically added to your garage when they send out prizes for the challenge accepted. It's given un-upgraded, so you still need to fully upgrade it with crystals. The cost of upgrading is the same as regular crisis or hyperion drones.

And to answer your specific question, if you don't own hyperion drone, and you win hyperion XT, you'll still only have hyperion XT drone. If you want the regular hyperion drone, you have to buy it in the garage for crystals.

They are separate. The XT drone skin will be available and the drone will need to be purchased and upgraded seperately. XT drones were available in containers some time ago. Along with the unique look, it also boosts GS, allowing players to reach the 10K GS mark. Do note that XT drones consume 10 pieces of each supply in total unlike drones without the XT skin affect which would mean your supplies will get burnt out alot more faster.

Honestly, if you're considering XT skin drones, Crystals and supplies should be the least of your worries.

I have to disagree with you my friend.
XT drones are simply drones and not skins. Fuselages and weapons only have skins. You can have a full upgraded hyperion bought in the hangar and a hyperion XT won also upgraded to full. Of course, you need to remember that both need to be upgraded well and the xt drone takes a lot more supplies. And finally, there have never been XT drones in crates, it's too exclusive to be in crates.

I believe you misunderstood his question. He was asking if obtaining the Hyperion XT skin would automatically unlock the drone without needing to pay the 320k crystals, assuming he hasn't bought the Hyperion drone yet. Also Fyi XT drone skins have been in containers once before and then removed.

yes, this is what i meant! thank you for explaining it to me :)) but also WHAT?? XT drones consume 10 UNITS EVERY TIME A SUPPLY IS ACTIVATED?? isnt that like lowkey bad then? or do XT drones give you an advantage in battle? Because if my drone is using up 10 units of supplies every time i activate it, it'd better be able to transform into optimus prime on some transformers type shi.

The XT drone means you can activate supplies in any order without waiting for cooldowns. It also boosts your GS from 9999 to 10000 after the 10th upgrade on the drone giving you a very unique and standout look among other tankers.
