Yeah, it is a shame about the rewards, it's nice to finally have an (almost) free event though. Just wished they packed some rare augments into the mix; like Viking-Driver for instance for say 60 stars. But if that actually happened nearly everyone would get that augment and it would cease to be 'rare'.

 

From my perspective, this whole event is a statistical experiment to see how far tankers are willing to go to get free rewards.

In my opinion, this event was unfair between premium and non-premium. In my opinion, if you had put the battle points in the game instead of stars in the star system in the event, I would have attended the event more.

Just a quick question, we are now in the second race, if my team (Tank-Noir) gets eliminated from this race do I still receive these rewards:

I know if my team is eliminated from this second race I won't be in the next (third) race, but, if I get 90 stars and my team is eliminated do I still receive these rewards from the second race?

Hazel, let me give you a piece of advice. Don't let a star event happen again. If it does, you will be given a premium gift. 4 stars without premium. 8 stars with premium. It was not a good event at all and it is bad that daily tasks are not counted.

If noir gets eliminated today, if you have completed 90 stars, you wont get any prizes. You  will get prizes only if your team get passed the current race

That's one disapointing rule there! Why aren't people allowed to keep the prizes they worked so much for if their team gets eliminated in that round. People literally have to play several hours for this and you dont even have the decency to reward the very players keeping your game afloat with the very few rewards this free event offers. initially I thought this might be okay free event, but it's filled to the brim with so many ifs and buts, its getting ridiculous. People who got eliminated first got just a bunch of paints they will never use.

1 Tankoin is nothing, but earning 30-90 stars demands a whole lot of game time, this in itself means tonnes of supplies used and for low rankers gaining way to much XP for a scant amount of crystals.

If It's not easy to do then the event should reflect the effort put into producing it, ie a worthwhile event the majority of players actually want to participate in that does not have detrimental consequences for your account, ie low rankers getting pounded just to rank up and get pounded even more at the next rank. Totally agree, which is why I made NO EFFORT whatsoever to earn stars, mind you I only purchased 1 tk on one account that had a couple thousand spare tk and then realised that if I did go all out and my team got stuffed all that effort was for nothing, so I gave it a hard pass. I almost fell into line with the other sheep but came to my senses and avoided the scam trap set by hazel. Still 1 tk, that's gonna take awhile to get over knowing I gave TO something, bummer.

the real price is actually very high, having to "play" (though that word is usually associated with something fun, not in this case) the game.

So what you're basically saying is an event which requires you to "play a GAME" (which is obviously meant to be played) is a downside or negative aspect of the game ?

Then I believe you are expecting an event which gives you free rewards for just logging in the game, and if that's a yes, I believe I got sad news for you.

Playing to earn rewards should be the minimum criteria for any single event that should happen in this game, or any Game in general.

• I went far ahead in Elite pass which requires me to put less effort in the end days.
• I got extra rewards for my participation in the event as well just for a measle 1 Tankoin.

And you know why ? Because I just played the game, (Which is the basic purpose of the game being made)

Couldn't have said this any better. Also let's go suns team. Ive been having fun grinding this event. I am content with going for the loot boxes and the third prizes. For a free event like this just for playing I like it.

I would agree with you to some extent, but here are some points to discuss. For f2p you need to spend several hours everyday which lot of people are simply not willing to do or cannot even do. Not everyone is willing to spend a quater of their day to get to those 90 stars. The other thing is that spending these hours in MM will actually be quite taxing on most players supplies ammount unless you somehow just play with Brutus and Healing Emitters or something. So theoretically speaking, most people will  be spending more than they will get back from the rewards.

You can argue here that supplies are to be spent  which is true, but not everyone is an endgame helper getting paid with ingame curencies who can spend hundreds if not thousands of supplies to get less back.

There is a chance to get something better from the containers and that is also true, but this will not come true for majority of the players, so it still stands that perhaps even majority of the people participating will lose more than they actually gain, while spending hours upon hours in the horror world of todays MM.

The other low blow  coming from this event is the fact you won't even receive the prizes for that round if your team did not make it to the upcoming round, so once again, you spend hours in MM to get to the 90 stars, but you get nadda because your team did not make it, so you wont even get those peanuts you were offered at the start.

I wont comment on the other points you made as they are mostly not related to the event itself, if anything some of them speak more against you. The fact that you bought stars only furthers the point that this event isnt about being free but about which factions buyer will push the faction away from elimination.

To summarize I am not saying you should not participate. In fact, if you are an endgame player with resources that he has no other chance of spending like supplies in this instance, by all means go for it. The chance to get something might still be worth it in the end. But we should not pretend that everybody is this way, or that everybody wants or should spend that amount of resources like supplies and, more importantly, personal free time measured in many hours to very likely get less stuff then they started with.

And if you do all that effort for the Team and in the end you get nothing because the team was eliminated?

I have said before that playing at Legend rank is no big deal. Try playing on a low rank account with no protections, very little crystals and see how far you get. all as a F2P.

TO does not do low rankers any favours, quite the opposite in fact. Also as a low ranker any "nerfed" container you earn gives you all the crap like mk1 tripe and useless paints.

Paints should be left out of containers and put into the shop, that way they can stay away from my account and rot in the shop.
