Should TheCongoSpider become a Game Mechanics Tester for TO. (and have his feedback actually acted on regarding the game)

As everyone knows @TheCongoSpider has dedicated a lot of time, and no doubt considerable effort into summing up the pros and cons of just about everything associated with TO, so much so that I firmly believe that outside the actual developers he is more knowledgeable than any other person/player who plays this game.

I try and work out some of the mechanics involving turrets/hulls/augments etc, but it takes a player wholly dedicated to such a task to decipher the insane amount of data/information associated with each individual mechanic and come up with a viable alternative regarding buffs and nerfs that players actually understand, because he takes the time to explain as simply as possible what the devs have posted that just goes over most players heads.  

I actually believe that if push comes to shove that he is actually more aware of the pros and cons than all but the most nerdy of developers.

I'm flattered but in the end, my words are still from the perspective of a player interacting with the mechanics. I can never know the real reasons behind certain changes, but can make educated guesses that may or may not be correct. I have more confidence in my deductions than someone like, say, dima492832. But what can feel right for me may not be close to what's happening in reality. Only Opex and his team have the actual data and rationales. Fortunately, Opex has become rather talkative lately, both here and on the RU forum so players can get some snippets of insight into certain things. 

 

While I'm not and probably won't be an official tester myself, I'm more than happy with helping them out with bug-finding wherever I can.

Well I think you should be, along with a few others that know how the game pans out in reality.

TO is a jumbled, complicated, mess and needs a DRASTIC overhaul in all areas. Unfortunately this overhaul is up to those who put profit before anything else and I'm not putting this on the devs, but those who employ them.
