Issues joining MM battle and not opening Tanki in browser

Hello.

 

As of recently I have been running into some issues.

For example at some point of a day I am not able to join MM games with desktop application (it sticks for a hour or two) and after couple of hours game works just fine. The most of the time I get kicked due to inactivity, as I launch "Quick match" it finds some random match, game starts loading and most of the time it gets stuck on some random % (for example 30%) and sticks to it until I get kicked out of the match. I try again - same thing happens over again. So I quit application and I tried to run Tanki via browser. I press play on the site, I press random button and following error comes up: https://prnt.sc/gS4v8_79bg_r 

I believe something is off with the game, some other players are having somewhat same issues with phone version of the game - not sure how/what kind of issue they run into.

I do hope I am not only one having this kind of issue. If you know how to fix this or is it problem for developers please let me know.

 

NOTE: I have fiber network inside of my home (so it can't be network) or something off with PC (cuz you can basically play Tanki on toaster).

I had the same issue on Mozilla, and was told by help support to switch my default browser to Google Chrome which sorted the issue for me. If you already set your default browser to Chrome, try clearing your cache. You can also try entering the game through these links:

Changing resource in the JSON file does not help not gonna lie. I changed three links in JSON file that you have provided and everything is same like before.

If none of the links krokorok provided work on any browser, they won't work for the client either, sadly. Maybe try a VPN, if you have one?

I get that System Error very often, then I just click again the mouse and it loads. 

A tons of software/server issues I learnt to play with, even if there is nothing to do with lag issues (getting killed by a tank that did not even appear yet).

And no problems with Mozilla by the way...

Every so often I encounter same issue. At least once a day. For the last hour I couldn't join any MM battle. I have tried using the links someone sent here for the last couple of days multiple times, let's say it worked somehow only once or twice but it doesn't provide permanent fix. Something that I noticed when the game is not working properly is that there are not shown some pictures (that could be something connected to the shop item, or at bottom right corner for notifications or it could be something in garage turret or hull for example). Most of the time I wait for 30 minutes or more. The longest I have been waiting was for a 1 hour and 30 minutes.

I am glad someone else has reported the same problem which started for me about 2 weeks ago. I press quickplay and it only loads upyo 98% and doesn't enter the battle, then timeouts. I also tried to get help from tech support; gave them my ping times, and then told me this has been sent to tanki tech staff.

I try every odd time and sometimes I get a game, but then I can only play like 2-3 battles, then it starts getting stuck at loading 98%.

I tried different browsers and even different computers; to try to figure out what is going on. Perhaps recent browser updates broke it and they need to update their server end software.

I also tried to turn off browser extensions; still made no difference.

I really hope they fix this soon; was hoping this problem would go away after the recent tanki server technical maintenance; thanks again for speaking up since I haven't seen many talking about it, thought I was the only one.

I talked to the Tanki tech support and they suggested use VPN; said something about the backbone internet is bad. My ISP seems fine with everything else, and

have been playing tanki fine for many years.

**Anyone with VPN can you try it out and see if it works? Thanks...

I still get most of the time stuck on LOADING 98%; but the odd random time I sometimes get through to play a few games if that per day sometimes not completing my

daily missions. WHen I can get QUICKPLAY like can only play 2-6 games.

I hope they fix this soon, getting really annoying.

Hi , i m from italy , this problema happened to me also from about 4 or 5 months , i dont know bwfore becuse i reentered the game after many years. Like you sometime i can join andplay sometime not. My isp is one of the best in italy ..i haven't tryed vpn.in the early days many years ago this problem never happened and my provider is always the same
