Im Curious - did these invite a friend events are really works? New people really come? or its mostly an interesting way to get ur main account some things by yourself and a second account?

Maybe @ Opex-Rah (ik you hate these tags so I were polite lol) can give us answeres?

Im asking it because by my eyes, its maybe the biggest problem the game is dealing with at the last few years...Im here for 12 years (and almost half, old me) and really wants this game to succeed like it was in its golden days

btw - Like I offered before, Tanki can try advertising the give all over the internet again, Im sure it'll bring here some new guys

Just having a glance of this forum and noticed we got this topic here. I can't stop myself from dropping a comment.

I still remember when I said this "event" is not gonna work as intended, I get called as amateur by Opex himself. And he insisted this was a success merely a few days this invite a friend thing gone live for the first time and he claimed that they have already decided to make it a regular event at that time.

Well... The latter happend obviously and it seems that this so call event is DEFINITELY working as intended... Like people are definitely inviting actual living new/returning players (in which some hopefully can be converted as paying customers), instead of creating yet another 7 random throw away accounts for the sake of the rewards.

This event like the missions is bursting with XP that I certainly do not want.

More xp you rank faster, which leads to useless garage, which leads to getting wiped out even more.

I have now permanently closed down 3 accounts because of this.

this winter my friends (that never played tanki nor even knew of it's existence) saw me play and fight against a hopper user. when they realised the 'aircraft' was not a hacker they  said that they'll never touch this game again. 5 seconds of gameplay was enough for them to not even try this game. I'm sure the invite a 7 alt- i mean friend event is a success and is bringing many new players.

but then the 5/40 team even tho they won gets x5 times less rewards than the campers that farmed your team for score. #2 why attacking in the current environment is just plain stupid.

TO is a dead game with nothing to offer but frustration and getting spawn killed by some clown with a op augment.

TO is a joke, an expensive one at that. Any player wasting good money on this needs therapy. 

Every game has a 'main' objective, after which progression is left out to the player. In Tanki, the main objective is to reach the Legend rank, what you do after that is up to you. There is no game that offers unlimited progression beyond a basic objective that once reached, the player is then meant to chart their own course. 

Saying the game doesn't offer anything to Legend ranks with maxed out garages is like saying Minecraft doesn't offer anything after you defeat the Ender dragon and get full Netherite gear - it's up to you to pursue your own objectives after that.

 

You can, for example, join a clan and make your attempts at eSports, you can join a Parkour Club and conquer maps with your friends, you can volunteer as a helper, you can play XP/BP, Hyper, PRO battles, special events, etc. 

The core of the game is based on ranking up and achieving the 'final' rank, but there's a lot you can still do beyond that.

I and many like me have completed "the main" objective. Progression means for a lot of Legends, I would assume, in getting all paints, skins, shot effects and augments, the latter which I detest.

Don't care about Minecraft, I passed the age of 5 a long time ago. Why can TO not be different Break the monotonous gameplay with something new for Legends, give players something to aim for.

I think your missing my point, let me explain again.

The core objective of TO is to scam cash from players, this is a fact.

My core objective is for those in charge to make changes to the game that do not hinder players-ie:- 

Passive XP.

No protections for lower ranks.

Ranking way to quick.

Reward for ranking=JOKE.

Shop prices way, way to high.

Trashcans-get rid.

Augments-get rid.

Copy/paste of every turret in the game-make them unique.

Seriously the list is huge and I can't be bothered to go through all of them.

TO has stagnated into a P2W TDM.

My objective now is to get all the skins. But, I think that will go... Crap game keeps giving same skins in Challenges. Bring back the legend container as a reward.
