update Tanki Classic mass test

Good the mass test for Tanki Classic finally appeared, so that all those who bought "Nostalgia" and "Old-school" special offers can take part in those tests. Also good that people can buy such offers again. Big W, especially that many waited with unpatience for some more news about it.

I've seen few screenshots from this game and not gonna lie, interface of Lobby and game are really impressive, identical to old, _{but gold}  Flash interface. I like it. Many complain that it looks ugly, terrible etc. but like, it's not possible to recreate 1 : 1 Flash interface + fact servers are runned on different technologies. Prove me wrong. I guess it will be further improved to make it more and more similar to old interface which was before HTML5 era. 

Good there's so many feedback about the current state of TC by now from testers. Hope it will make a huge impact on game. And also I hope people will accept the fact that Tanki Classic will not be 1 : 1 how it used to be in old days of TO and old Tanki can't be fully replaced. Those days are gone, but at least there are memories of it (Old videos, old screenshots). 

And more thing - don't be suprised your account will reset and complain how "after grinding so many hours it all got removed, nooo" etc., because it was clearly said that progress will get reset, "During the test, we will restart the game several times and even temporarily pause the testing process. We will also wipe the test server database several times, which will reset all your progress." But I guess there will be still complaints about it.

Anyway, wish you patience during tests.

Still there will be someone that will cry, because account is wiped. Even though I wasn't in TO for at least 2 years, I know this community well, I can think of what will happen.

So let me break the reality down a bit more in detail.

I purchase this bundle in may on my alt (rank02). Naturally I always check the terms on the announcement. I may not be the only player who did.

The game has already, in the past, implemented bundles with rank requirements of rank08 (master sergeant), clan license (warrant officer 1).

So they do have the ability to correctly make an announcement and bundle for the shop.

 

I repeat. I purchased this in May. There are no indications that I need to play on tanki online any further, to play classic. Note that, I did purchase the old school (gold tier) bundle.

 

Several months later...

 

They finally rush to release classic before the end of year to avoid having to return players their rubies for not being able to meet their deadline.

The day of release, finally appears.

 

I wake up, get on the server, notice that, I can yet, purchase the bundles again. But cannot play. To this point, there was still no announcement of the rank requirement.

 

I message support:

Don't forget to see the timestamp, I did email a bit later because I was consulting friends and confirming I had evidence of the purchase in May. Which is already shown in this thread when I replied to Opex. In which he returned a response of mockery and chose to ignore the information about the classic purchase out of rank.

 

Now you sent me a post @scales, that entails a link to where opex said the following, which I let google translate the page for, advise me with the correct translation if it is off:

Ah yes, he's sorry for a confusion which should never have happened because we know the game can implement rank limits. Now support bombarded me with the eula and no apology, the English channels have no official wording of such new requirement they put in place.

Such fix only happened later after their terms changed. Was I deceived? Yes. I would never have purchased the bundle on that account if I knew, the game would force me play further to claim it's contents. That wasn't in the announcement.

And this is the second instance something like this has happened to the same account. The first time, I can discuss later for those who wish to know.

 

Months of negligence and transparency issues is not funny. It is greatly unprofessional. I am not going to pay for the games lack of information distribution and lack of programming ability.

 

Now to any forum mod or staff with ability to delete my posts, this time, I've got this all recorded so I know what I've said this time, with more detail. This is all very constructive.

 

This game makes many loopholes and gets away with it. Now I don't mind paying. But if I paid and now there's an extra term to when I paid. I'm not having it. Be sincere.

Since the bundle gave 10k rubies, all I care to have back is 9990 tk to balance it all out.

Now, I don't care for a monetary refund. I just want the unspent tk back for which I didn't get the service I paid for. But clearly support doesn't either understand, or care and closed the ticket. I sent back one more email, but we'll wait to see what happens.

 

Now I did also purchase the bundle on my main. Had a brief look over the interface, just not had time to play and test yet.

 

And for anyone who says, 'just rank up'. Blindness to actions will only remain.

@Opex-Rah Great game and good work Hazel! I am absolutely loving it even though there are so many things to be fixed. The only question I have is, can we have Gold Box and Crystal visuals like in the screenshot? The Crystal boxes we have now in testing phase don’t look very nostalgic to me, Thank you.
