Thunder: Viking or Mammoth?

The M3 version of mammoth is faster then it was before.

But unlocked at the highest rank. :mellow:

 

Viking is good, but I think hunter can do the job better.

It has a bit less armor; but much more speed.

Dictator has the best stats, but it's big and you will annoy your team mates; blocking their aim.

And yet again;these last two hulls are unlocked at a very high rank.

 

If you don't have the patience to get there, or not the money to buy the XP points, I would go with viking.

 

But if you want to camp; go with mammoth... titan is faster, but still to slow to get flags.

 

I was also considering Hunter coz of its speed, i will be able to capture the flags too which affects the final score, hence more crystals. I won't be spending 19k crystals for viking m3 anyways so unlocking viking at lower rank is of no use for me.

 

SO, in any case i will be buying at most m2 version of any tank, which means difference of approx 50hp between viking and hunter which can make a big difference as compared to 0.7 speed difference.

 

I will also buy corrosion paint, which will increase survival rate against shaft, railgun and thunder which will be huge advantage

 

so, the choice is between hunter and viking.

corrosion is just 10-15 % stats . It does not gives you a life saving gain . I would prefer to go for paints like tundra (specialized protection - which is life saving)

Picasso is the best paint for thunder and mammoth; but if you can't afford it, Rustle would do the job aswell.

Freeze kills me every time when they're behind me... a paint like Rustle or Picasso give me a bit more time.

I see no difference in the rebalance.

 

Frankly I dont see any point in the rebalance. Its a rip-off.

 

The point of the rebalance is to add a compatibility to add more equipment, such as new guns, new hulls, new paints, and even more.

This is probably the most important reason why rebalance was launched, besides the virtue of fairness for all tankmen.

 

As for the topic, I suggest Viking, because it is a much more balanced hull with a diverse environment; most Mammoths cannot rush the flag or run to the enemy like a Viking could. :)

Hunter is way better then viking; so is dictator... only buy viking, if you don't have the patience to get higher ranks, or not the amount of money to buy the required XP.

Yep, buy viking i you don't think you will go to Field Marshall. Or if you buy a lot of crystal and don't want to buy XP.

I wish I could buy Viking, it is still my favorite tank. Also it is relatively cheap and M3 is unlocked at a lower rank. But I can't make it to Lieutenant Colonel, so it is probably going to be Mammoth.

Viking is a perfect balance of speed and health.Mammoth is more health than speed. TDM,CTF=Viking. Polygon Deathmatch (Especially) Mammoth m3 would be better. But if you can only afford one. and you are not a buyer I would say Viking because it works great in Deathmatch as well. :)

go for mammoth. and if u feel like to capture flags use nitro. i have captured many flags with mammoth m2 on nitro but if you come to a row of brutally defensive m3 thunders put on double armor and power :D

the only thiing you need to worry about is the damn freeeze!

In the previous version of Tanki the Viking was the best, now it is the worst possible tank. It is with low speed, with low armor. Dictator is better, hunter is better, mammoth is beteer.

If you have viking, you are very stupid person or when version changed you did not understand where are all the weapons and tanks and simply because of errors bought the old set, viking + ...

Thats true . But better to get paint for shaft rail thunder instead because -

you are responsible for defence and that is fighting long ranges ... Freez can be countered with friends intercepting them or mines and or isida healers

I have a thunder and mammoth m1 and my kill to death ratio is always above 1.00. Of u drug and have isidas with you ... its unstoppable :). So I prefere mammoth with thunder because it gan take the hits and you can camp at ur flaag and kill the enemies!!!

I agree, mammoth is much more stronger than viking.and if mammoth is too slow, use nitro

IMO, titan is emerging as a very good choice with thunder for those people who are not going to play till the rank of generalissimo and not going to spend money on crystals.

 

SO titan m2 has hp of 292 and speed of 5.3 which will be nightmare for any opposition.
