    • As an elite player who has spent a lot of time in this game, I have to say that the current state of Tanki Online in 2026 makes almost no sense anymore. I want to split my opinion into two parts: the positives and the negatives, because there are still some things that deserve recognition, but unfortunately the problems are much bigger. The positives: First of all, the game still looks good in many aspects. The HD maps are beautiful, some of the visual improvements are impressive, and the new skins can look really nice. There are also some interesting upgrades and ideas that could have been great for the future of the game. However, even here there is a problem: some upgrades are simply too strong and completely destroy the balance. A good example is the hammer-related upgrades, which can make gameplay unfair and remove the skill factor from battles. Now the negatives, because this is where the biggest problems are. The current battle system is probably one of the worst changes ever made. In 2026, the game is only actually enjoyable at Legend rank. Below that, most battles are filled with bots and only a few real players. There is no excitement, no competition, and no real satisfaction from playing. Grinding XP by destroying bots is not fun. A multiplayer game should be about fighting real opponents, not farming AI enemies for points. The progression system is also way too fast now. Ranking up used to feel like an achievement. You had to work for your equipment, improve your skills, and every new level meant something. Now everything happens too quickly, and reaching higher ranks has lost its value. Some game modes also make no sense anymore. Take Juggernaut, for example. The mode can be completely decided by random luck. One team can hit the Juggernaut bot ten times while the other team cannot do anything, and the entire battle is basically over. This is not competitive gameplay; it is just frustrating. The amount of diamonds available is another huge problem. Giving hundreds of thousands of diamonds to players on low ranks completely destroys the economy and progression. When you can afford almost everything immediately, nothing feels special anymore. There is no motivation, no excitement, no feeling of earning something valuable. I remember the old days when I could spend a few euros and have a great experience, but I could also spend nothing and still enjoy the game. The balance between paying and playing was much better. Now it feels like the game has lost its identity. The old M0, M1, M2, and M3 system was something that motivated players. The appearance of your tank showed your progress. You could see the difference between players, and upgrading your tank felt rewarding. Today, unless someone has a special XT skin, almost every tank looks the same. I cannot even clearly tell how upgraded a tank is anymore. There is no personality, no feeling of achievement, and no visual reward for progress. The flying hulls are probably one of the biggest mistakes ever made. Whoever decided that jumping tanks and these mechanics were a good idea completely destroyed the atmosphere of the game. Tanki Online always had its own unique feeling, and this change took away a huge part of it. I honestly believe thousands of players stopped playing because of these ridiculous mechanics. And then there are gold boxes. Why do they even exist in the current game? They have almost no value anymore. Players used to fight for gold boxes because they were rare and meaningful. They created moments of excitement and competition. Now people would rather fight for the flag because a gold box that drops after 10 seconds is simply not worth anything. Gold boxes were one of the biggest parts of Tanki Online’s identity, maybe even 50% of the reason why battles were exciting. Removing their importance was another step that killed the soul of the game. What happened with Tanki Classic is also something many players will never forget. You kept delaying the release while players trusted you. Many people spent money for the last time because they believed in your promises. Instead, you damaged the trust of the community. You destroyed the atmosphere, the feeling, and the enjoyment that made Tanki Online special. Players were not asking for endless Legend ranks from 1,2,3,4,5,6... We wanted new ideas. We wanted new ranks, creative paints, interesting combinations, new equipment, and exciting upgrades for M4 and M5. We wanted evolution of the game, not a system designed only to keep pushing players toward spending more. The greed has gone too far. The old Tanki Online was not perfect, but it had a soul. It had a community, competition, goals, and memories. The current version feels like a completely different game that forgot what made people love it in the first place. Thank you for the memories, but the game you are selling us in 2026 is not the Tanki Online we fell in love with.
    • With all due respect, that's the gameplay of Rugby. Ball is in the middle, and both teams fight to deliver it to the enemy's goal.
    • Its because Tanki doesnt alllow to change teams mid match, and its not like you will be in 1 side everytime, you'll get to try both Escorts and bandit from time to time in that mode, just like ASL.
    • Okay, that sounds better, but I still don´t Iike the idea of one team having to defend and the other attack the whoIe match. How about this change to the idea, if l may: The Convoy starts in the middle, and it's abandoned, then the teams wiII have to capture it, when one team captures the Convoy it starts heading to the base of the team that captured it. That's when one team defends it and the other attacks it.
    • The format proposed is one of the very interesting and common game modes used in multiple games. Its not a bunch of travelling convoys but a single piece of moving truck whom Escorts have to carry till the start to the end while the bandits have to stop that single convoy to reach the end. It's very fun if you try it.
