  2. Most players will not be able to get the 100 tankoins. Sure, it’s an improvement from 75, but only tryhards, who are usually buyers, reach that. Previously, the tankoins are spread out, allowing casual and f2p players to get at least a few tankoins. Also, it is a RANDOM XT skin. Personally, I don’t like playing with mk1s in mk7 matches. You also need to pay 500 tankoins twice now, for the same rewards. You get 200 tankoins(0 for most), plus same two skins. One skin per challenge. Only with battle pass.

  3. There should be just 3 game modes for MM: ·Juggernaut ·Control points ·Capture the flag.

  4. Legacy items are there. If you do not have a lot of the skins, it will take a longer time for it to come around again.

  5. The dome remains for the remainder of its timer. It is not tied to the user being in the battle at the same time. I'm not sure about Wasp's bomb. I would presume it acts like Firebird and Freeze when this situation occurs. When a Firebird heats a target and then leaves the battle, the target is immediately cooled to neutral temperature. Same thing for Freeze. Maybe the bomb will be destroyed when the Wasp leaves, the same way Hunter's Overdrive destroys it.

  9. This....100% this. How is rugby different from ctf....how is siege functionally different from CP. CTF and CP are in my opinion the two base game types, and the best. If we got rid of all those other ones, mm would be helped. I know ppl like jugg, so thats probably got to stay

  10. They hack to complete challenges and earn stars fast. CTFs end in 2 minutes 5-0 when there is a speed hacker. I sit on flag sometimes with dictator, they get under my tank, flip my tank, and take the flag. Hard to shoot at them, as they are too fast. They catch all the golds too. I place a mine near flag, they step on it. Their wasp lies upside down. Then suddenly, it flips right back on its tracks. Striker laser able to lock on to you even from behind walls. The Challenges have led to more hackers, definitely. To get 3 / 6 stars fast, some use $, some use hacks, some use both.

  14. Gonna revive this topic for a bit. Just had a really funny moment in Siege. It was on Aleksandrovsk, and the enemy had a bunch of guys with Gauss. So our team went to capture a point on the hill, and then we see one of the Hornet Gausses start aiming at us with his OD on. So instantly the three of us on the point move back and hide behind the pillar, away from his line of sight. It's the way we all went to hide in unison made it really funny and almost comical ?

  16. So, most of the overdrives bring some decision making to a battle. Do i: 1: Expect to be facing lots of mid to long range turrets and want the protection that Titan offers, while losing to hunters and hornets, or 2: Expect to be facing down short range turrets where the deathtouch immediately ends any attack. These overdrives are excellent and well designed. Medium Hulls: 1: Want extra firepower? Viking is the best. 2. Want to completely break attacks or defenses? Hunter is great! 3: Want extra supplies and help the team succeed? Dictator's OD is great! Again, decently well designed. Light Hulls: 1: Want to obliterate enemy tanks with high damage at long range? Hornet is best. 2. Want to obliteate enemy tanks at short range? Well...hornet is still the best

  17. The problem is that there are now 98 different kits in some sort of rotation excluding Mk rating...in other words there are 98 Mk7 kits, 98 Mk6 kits, etc. Only one or maybe two kits sold for crystals show up at a time and they only show up for twelve hours. That makes the chances of hitting the right kit at the right time very small...even if you play every day. We don't have MU tables yet for the new Mk system so it is still hard to tell, but from prices from the garage, it looks like you get a 15% reduction in the price of a kit from the price you would pay for the equipment individually...nice, but not an incredible savings. The real value of a kit, especially for the M7, is that they unlock equipment two ranks early (and those are very long ranks). In the old M system kits were up for about a week at a time. If you hadn't seen a kit for a couple of months, you knew it was coming around again pretty soon and could prepare. As it is now it is just impossible to tell when or even if you will ever see the kit you want...it could literally take years if you miss it once or twice because of the twelve hour thing. It will certainly be worth trying to buy your kit, but it's not as easy or dependable as it was before this update. In the lower ranks, with the small savings and the easier rank-up times, kits will be even less important. I think most players will just wait and buy the equipment they want on sale. I'm sure they will take advantage of any kit they want if it comes up in rotation and they happen to have the crystals and the proper rank, but it will mostly be a matter of luck. Kits are not gone, they are just much more inaccessible to Freebie players. Buyers will have access to all the kits at all ranks and can purchase one at any time with Tankoins. They too might get lucky (there are more Tankoin kits each 12 hour period so chances are better) and catch a 40% discount on their kit, but they have to be in the right place at the right time aslo. My guess is that since they sent in money anyway, they will just buy the kit they want instead of waiting to maybe catch a discount. It all boils down to people with enough Tankoins (that would be Buyers) will have the early unlocked kits and it will be the rare Freebie that is able to take advantage of the early unlock...not impossible, but very unusual...certainly not nearly as easy as the previous system.

  18. What you mean by this? Are you saying that it's ignore ability shouldn't affect titans dome? This is a horrible suggestion if so. Modules and DA are made useless when an enemy hornet activates OD. I don't mind if hornet can completely ignore titans dome though. I have enough titan dome encounters to last me a hundred lifetimes.

  19. My worst experience so far was a Kungur battle where the highest GS on my team was 7777, with many of my teammates much below that (around 5k), yet the enemy team had 4 players above 8.5k GS, 2 of those had more than 9k. The rest of their team had good GS as well compared to mine. It was bad. The unequipping of the protection modules must've broke something in MM in the short run. Because battles aren't what they used to be before the conversion. It's getting demotivating.

  21. “You only have one weel choice,” said the sales rep, flaunting his curious accent in the process. “You have far less than the wequired amount for any new bicycle — or even a second-hand one in good condition.” My heart fell — I had been saving up for a while to get a solid bike, and there was a deadline. My new training group was starting up soon, and you had to have a bike or you couldn’t join for an entire year. I had the money beforehand. I was ready for that. Of course, I had an older bike that I could use, but I wanted a new one. But the successive thievery of both my bike and a significant amount of money had left me unable to get into the group, and I was downcast. “Don’t worry though, son. As I said, we have an option for you. This fine bike — wusted, yes… but still a bike,” said the salesman, obviously hoping for a sale but clearly knowing that the likelihood that I (or anyone, for that matter) would buy that bike was extremely low. He had no idea, did he? Here was my ticket to the group, and I could easily save up for a higher-quality bike later on. “I’ll take it,” I said. “Okay, but I’ll warn you it’s not that sturdy…” he replied less than eagerly. He really wanted that juicy commission he would receive with a sale. “I’ll take it,” I said again - slightly impatiently. I needed that bike quick. After forking over the cash and taking possession of the bike, I inspected it once more, though I already had done that. I knew he hadn’t been lying, and was even over-praising it. The front wheel was nearly falling off; the left handlebar was practically non-existent — but it was a bike. And that made my mind drift to the horribly arbitrary rule that one had to have a bicycle to join the group… or more accurately, that one couldn’t join the group midway through the year. It wasn’t competitive or anything, just a casual group of cyclists riding together. As I was musing about this, I pulled into the driveway of my quaint single-family bungalow and hauled the bike out of the bed of his truck. I had been in such a rush for this pile of rusted metal because the first registration meeting for the cycling group took place that day, and there was no way I would miss it. What better way to get to the meeting than ride to it? It was a short 15 minute drive, meaning that I would be able to do it in around 40 minutes on the bike. I slipped out of my jeans and changed into some light clothes — I‘d need them in the sweltering 40-degree heat of Texas. I hopped on and rolled down the driveway, somewhat deficient as braking went, but fine in other aspects. The bike was decent, and afforded a pleasant ride in most aspects, until around 20 minutes through. Then came the downhill. Then came disaster. Rolling at a decently fast speed down an incline, I felt the front wheel shaking. But what could I do? The brakes were less than could be wished for, and there was essentially no way to slow down my descent. Finally, I reached the bottom. Still travelling at high speeds though, the front wheel was now halfway off the wheel… three quarters off… I tried my last hope — a wheelie on the back wheel. Hopefully I could pull it off for long enough to come to a stop. But even before I did that, my mind jumped to the stupidity of riding this bike anywhere. Leaping backwards, I shifted my weight to the rear of the bike. Just in time, fortunately. I was already slowing down, but it’s never very comfortable to fall from a bike, at any speed. And the front wheel was literally peeling itself away from the hub just as I entered a wheelie. Then the most insane thing happened. The bike began to actively fall apart — and it was hardly a bike anymore. There were a bunch of things that salesman hadn’t told me. For instance, the seat was (for some obscure reason) actually on a fixed hinge that was capable of moving if unwound. The brakes were also on a moveable sleeve that was capable of sliding down the top tube towards the seat. Both these components were usually fixed in place, but having been in storage for roughly half a decade had not assisted the bolts in staying in place, and the seat began to tilt forward under the weight of the wheelie, while the brakes slid backward towards the seat due to the incline of the bike. And then… the entire front piece came off. The left handlebar fell off of the main piece (it was already almost gone) and it got caught in the wheel, ripping the wheel off which in turn cracked the welding of the front frame and pulled the braking mechanism off from the front. Suddenly, I found myself barely balancing with a bike that only had one wheel and a seat that was facing straight up with the wheel directly beneath it — and the ineffective brakes were below that seat. My position was indeed perilous… but then my mind did a u-turn and drifted back to the salesman’s words… “you only have one weel choice,” he said, exchanging “R”s with “W”s. But was there any more bitter irony? My choice had truly become one-wheel, accent aside. After quickly dismounting as soon as I could, I stepped back to inspect my new one-wheeler. In all honesty, it looked pretty nice. Of course, I definitely couldn’t ride the thing and had no clue how I’d stayed on so long. I was essentially stranded, and so I began walking with the intact part of my bike in hand, hoping a car would pass by. In about 5 minutes of walking, I noticed a trail of dust forming in the distance and a car shortly emerged. Waving it down, I requested a ride back to my house — the meeting would have to wait, because it was out of the drivers’ way. He caught sight of my dilapidated former bicycle… and was immediately entranced. “Can you ride that thing?” he asked, looking at me expectantly. “Not in the slightest, actually,” I quipped. “Somehow my bike was converted into this wreck after it fell apart on a downhill.” “Would you learn to ride it for, say, $500?” This was getting serious. “Of course!” I said promptly — $500 was easily enough for a quality bike. What was he getting at though? “I think that would look great in a circus — I run a circus in Minnesota, if you were curious. I’m here on vacation, and also to search for new pieces of equipment to make our shows more interesting. If you’re fine to learn to ride this thing within a week, I’ll give you $500 — and a new bike, because it looks like you’ll need one. I’ll also take this prototype of sorts back to where I live, and make it into a real thing. Does that sound like a plan?” “Of course, sir.” I replied. We were now pulling into the driveway of my house. “Shall we meet again here on, say, next Wednesday at 5 PM?” “Sounds good,” he replied. My first action was to tighten the bolts holding the seat in its awkward place — I wouldn’t want it falling mid-ride. Then I set to it immediately. The chance of a true bike at no cost to me was good enough to warrant some significant time spent on it. Moreover, it was lucky that I happened to have the week off work because of a fire at the establishment. Over the week, I managed to get good enough to ride a couple feet on flat ground, proving that it was possible to do it. My friend the circus manager made good on his promise of paying me the money, and took my “unicycle” (named by him) back to Minnesota where it stood as a relic of the chain of events until his unfortunate death, only three years later. Now, looking back on that whole affair with the invention of the unicycle, well-nigh 30 years ago, I can’t help but thinking of the hilarity of the circumstances. A bad bike, a chance meeting — and now the unicycle is a recognized symbol of circuses around the country. And I invented it. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ So guys, this is the last you'll hear from me possibly forever. I'm leaving Tanki (I don't want to, I have to). I hope I can come back in a couple months/years, but otherwise, this is it. I've given up my unofficial Candidate spot as an eSports Reporter and I won't be playing anymore. It was nice knowing ya'll. Thanks to everyone who knew me for helping me along the way, and if we're lucky maybe I'll see you again. If we don't, well then, goodbye!

  24. That's because legend ranked players have to deal with all kinds of garbage, ranging from high protections, to ridiculously OP alterations to that Damn Hyperion drone which basically removes supply cool downs. If you ask, low ranked battles are a lot more fun because it's a lot more simple.

  25. It is probably due to way the conversion was done from m0-m3 to mk1-mk7. Lower rankers who acquired an m2 (maybe through kit) and upgraded that to m2.10 were granted mk7.0 instead of mk6.10. This meant they could continue to upgrade past mk7.0 even though they were relatively low level. Plus rank-spreads are still too wide IMO.

  28. ORIGINAL ANNOUNCEMENT Tankers! You’ve waited a long time, but the “Masters of Parkour” competition is finally here. Cool prizes and a lot of emotions are waiting for you! Read carefully and to the very end! The contest consists of two phases — the qualifying round and the finals. In the qualifying stage, participants need to form a team of up to 4 members, and shoot a spectacular parkour video. The video needs to be uploaded to Youtube, and the link must be submitted through this special form. After the qualification stage, the jury will pick the Top eight teams to move on to the finals. The finals will be broadcast live on the Tanki Online International Youtube channel. A couple of days before the broadcast, we will announce a selection of maps and houses. Each team will have to pick one house per map and prepare a stunt to get on that house. The finalists need to perform the tricks to get on the selected houses during the live broadcast. The finals will be single elimination, half of the teams will pass on to the next round until only one remains. The jury will judge the first stage videos based on the following criteria: Respect for the contest rules Difficulty of tricks Recording and editing quality And now, some details about the qualification stage: Teams are not allowed to participate in both the International and the Russian Masters of Parkour Stunts must be shot with standard gravity settings. Videos made in Space mode will not be considered. All team members must have a minimum rank of Warrant Officer 1. The parkour team must have at least 2 and not more than 4 tankers. The team can decide whether the video is to be shot by a team member or an independent cameraperson (either a spectator or a normal player) Players must not equip skins. The video must be exclusively shot for this contest. All members of your team must be equipped with the “Master of Parkour 2020” paint. Entries must be uploaded to Youtube. Video links are to be submitted via this special form. When submitting your video, make sure you include the nicknames of all the team members (at least 2 and not more than 4 members) and your team name. If the team wins, only the listed players will be rewarded. Your video must not be longer than 60 seconds. Videos longer than 60 seconds will be automatically disqualified. The nicknames of all team members must be visible and readable in all tricks. A participant can only be part of one team. Participants that share the same network, play from a public Wifi or frequently use VPNs must inform the organizers ahead of time! The video must not contain any violation of the Game Rules. The rights of using contest videos are described in point 9.3 of the EULA. Interesting fact! There are two versions—the International one (EN/DE/PL), and the Russian one. That means there will be two groups of winners, 2 finals live streams and 2 contests. Prizes (per team member) All the finalists will receive the unique paint “Master of Parkour 2020”, which will remain in their garages forever 1st place: a t-shirt with the game logo, any XT, Legacy or Prime*** skin of the player’s choice, any shot effect of the player’s choice, 200 of each supply**, 50 containers and 500 tankoins. 2nd place: any XT, Legacy or Prime*** skin of the player’s choice, any shot effect of the player’s choice, 120 of each supply**, 30 containers and 300 tankoins 3rd place: any XT, Legacy or Prime*** skin on the player’s choice, any shot effect of the player’s choice, 80 of each supply**, 20 containers and 200 tankoins Each finalist whose team attended the finals but did not reach the TOP-3 will receive 20 000 crystals, 10 containers and 100 tankoins. Additional nominations and prizes may be issued depending on the number and quality of entries. Dates: Entries are accepted until 02:00 UTC on March 3rd. The paint will be removed from all tankers on March 5th at an unspecified time. We will announce the nicknames of the finalists of the contest on March 7th. 29. We really need a display of our currently equipped protection modules in the main menu. This should be enough to get them to know whether or not their modules are equipped at all times. Should be quite simple to implement on the part of the devs, so I see no reason for this.

  30. I regularly kill these parkour miners on the test server. They have m4 mammoths with lifeguard drones. The way to do it is you equip: 1) Hornet m4 2) Shaft m4 3) 50% module against mines and their turret 4) Alteration for shaft which increases damage in sniping mode (large capacitors?) 5) m4 booster drone Wait for overdrive, activate DA + DD, load full shot and shoot. Lifeguard will save them. Then load full and shoot again. I tried this tactic will railgun + LCR first, but they get to use repair kit. Shaft kills in one shot. Its really fun. One time the mammoth rico dude had mined the whole of Rio, and I killed him, and he just quit the battle. Said something in Russian but I don't understand Russian. I join parkour battles mostly just to kill these guys. On the main server, its a waste of supplies to go after them. Just make a new private parkour battle and invite friends. Problem with Viking is that overdrive takes too long, they can get 50% protection against ur turret, and hide after taking first few shots. One shot kill with shaft is the way to go.

  32. Not really - those turrets are supposed to be used at range anyway. If the turret does self-damage it's designed to encourage you to keep distance. So if your OD ignores protections, why would it not ignore your own as well? It is perfectly logical. I think you misunderstand... Hornet OD already ignores your protections. I'm suggesting it also ignore the Hornet-OD-users protections as well so they are a danger to themselves if they get too close.
