@Flexoo So lucky. I want Smoky XT for my account that has Hunter Prime, just so that I can have one not-HD combination. My first account (still at Marshall, but will rank up soon) has got to 9K GS8 points

So, my internet decided to misbehave, and I was playing on phone. I could explore the whole map, but not activate supplies or deal damage. And there was the usual - stationary tanks with constantly rotating turrets and moving tanks wonderfully demonstrating the concept of inertia ("I'll keep moving in a straight line until I am obstructed"). So I used some Hopper magic and went out of bounds but didn't have the courage to jump off the map. :( I promise I'll jump next time.6 points

Abd how often do u have to save your douple damage, to wait for an enemy to show up, while meantime you activate all other supplies, and end up after 30 seconds without any supplies? And im using many drones, which all consume supplies. If u have played 6 montsh without ur supplies drained, u are not an active player. I consume 20k supplies in a month. And all the other od's has multiple downsides. Viking has one: time. And yet, if player plays well, he can have 4 overdrives per battle. Every other od needs strategy and careful planning to be effective. All viking has to do, is to presd 2 buttons: shift and fire. Instant godmode activated.4 points

Petition to remove Tankoin payment for 2nd and 3rd module slots. Please react with agree. This is so unfair :(4 points
-
But the most ironic thing is, Neither new players nor old players can enjoy the game at its fullest. Newbies have to pay tankoins to equip 3 modules at a time, Recuits are joined with 10 ranks higher players. And one VERY peculiar thing I noticed in my newbie account - An offer pops up when you buy an mk1, Which offers 7 micro updrades on that mk1 for 8 freakin USD. And they also mentioned it is a 'VERY' 'SPECIAL' one time offer. This is literally scamming these poor newbies, i.e 7 upgrades on that mk1 cost like 3000 crystals, and the offer costs 8$. Tanki has gone from pay to win updates to money tricks. I say the players need to start a revolution.4 points

Incendiary band got nerfed with a recent update, and now only inflicts burning damage if the shooter is also under the Burning status effect (which the Heat Immunity augment prevents from being applied). Now, it's most effective to use Incendiary Band with the Heat Resistance augment, since this lets you burn but reduces the damage done to your own tank. On the plus side, Incendiary Band can now burn tankers before it runs out of regular ammo if an enemy puts it on fire.4 points

Let us balance Booster, Defender, Trickster and Crisis with 1 easy trick: Booster provides 50% extra damage for the whole duration Defender Provides an extra 50 armor for the whole duration Trickster remains the same. Feels balanced Crisis; Max damage 50% extra damage with max armor, extra 50 armor with max speed, retain speed, it's essentially a big armor nerf regardless. Increase switch speed cooldown x4, 2s min at max. The switch cooldown is the main thing that is needed to be higher than it currently is to make it feel like a real penalty when switching modes. This way, at least Booster will cancel a defender, 250% damage vs 250 armor, however it also means a crisis who can switch effectively can become smart with both roles. Aside from that, yes people, Booster is OP, but easy to get 3rd partied due to lack of armor. However Defender allows you to have a spectrum 33.3333% module for any prot that you have not equipped and any prot that you have equipped, assuming 50% becomes 66.666%. To reduce all potential 3rd party damage, is pretty powerful. Since MM contains a huge part of 3rd party damage too in many large maps. As ugly has booster may be, defender is uglier, at least in my eyes, I would rather a random enemy from afar have a nice chance of killing me than not. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Let me remind the facts; Booster, 3s of 400% damage. Defender 20s of +100 armor. (66.666% damage reduction instead for 20s then reverts to 50% damage reduction)3 points

After battlepasses completed, a ton of time spent, Ive won all the skins I didnt want! Mammouth LC, Hunter Prime, Rail XT, Rail LC, Vulcan XT, Smoky XT, Shaft XT, Hornet XT, Dictator XT.... WHere is my thunder XT and viking XT??3 points
-
Both are more OP than things such as, lets say, a Twins/Hornet for example. Keep in mind strong stuff like Vulcan w/Heat Immunity, Gauss, Crisis, Defender, and Shaft aren't the only things in Tanki. You gotta also compare them to less abusable and less annoying stuff like Twins and Thunder and drones like Camper and Sprinter. Honestly, BOTH Vulcan with Heat Immunity and Incendiary Band as well as the Flying Monkey with Crisis are OP. While the Flying Monkey is OP because it can easily dodge shots, stun/burn its enemies with barely any risks, and cap flags like a madman, Vulcan with IB/HI is OP too because.....it's literally a Firebird with infinite range and ammo, and it's also a Twins with infinite range and higher DPS. So both need nerfs. It's just sad the the developers aren't touching the Flying Monkey much.3 points

Jammer status effect, huh. At first glance, it sounds like decent counterplay against Titan dome stacking, Hopper spam, and ez-pz Viking kills. Moreover, it doesn't wipe out supplies (at least in the VLOG footage), so it's not stupidly OP but more of a utility status effect that is useful in pinches like in Siege where Titan dome stacking is common. Time will tell how it'll turn out, but at least it looks promising as of writing this. Also, Heat Immunity + Incendiary Band getting nerfed? About heckin time.3 points

Why Rail? Rail has one of the highest critical occurrences, which ignores the module. And when there's no critical, it does a lot less damage. Basically don't equip a module when the turret has a damage boost. It is a waste since the turret ignores the module when it's doig max damage.2 points

Being that the output directly depends on the modification level and supplies and defensive attributes, in actuality it is the weakest overdrive because it needs a set of items. But to balance this out, what Tanki disgustingly did was first increased it's charging rate to an insane amount, then realized they messed up, and instead of reverting this 'bug' (like our gauss splash bug), they reduced the damage by a fair portion. With AP immunity becoming more common on Titans and many endgame players, especially in SGE mode, crusaders only use becomes to get lucky to make a tank in a dome self destruct or to hit of players that do not have AP imm/defenders with titans in domes etc. What I wanted for crus: Better damage Slightly bigger damage radius True damage (one that doesn't rely on supplies/upgrades) so that it may be used against players that hide inside domes/behind defensive drones. What we got: Poor damage Not a large enough damage radius Terrible damage for players who don't have boosted damage or decent upgrades OD charges often, advantage to be used as a subweapon(alt-fire) I recommend to use crusader with Booster/Crisis to help get the most damage out of it. ALSO I recommend people to use adrenaline augments if possible, every extra damage may help players with lower upgrades to boost the crusader icicle damage with the flat adrenaline bonus. Yes you may wipe out light hulls with a shot if you have a maxed hull and boosted damage, but a medium or even a heavy will be highly dependent on upgrades and supply encounters. The following will reduce crusader icicle damage: Titan dome, 90% damage reduction is a BIG chunk of damage killer, yes AP effect exists, but with AP imms becoming the norm for most players thanks to a fair set of broken AP augments being in circulation, I would avoid having to rely on AP effect from crus OD. Defender/Crisis and any sort of Boosted Armor Spectrum Modules, yes even our basic 20% etc. The fair new norm for endgame players is becoming Defender/Booster Viking AP imm. Also SGE mode being occupied by a fair bit of AP imm titans. The hull has a fair set of counters for it already. Now if you look over this, it already goes without saying that it's weak because it has such a fast charging rate to, hence why tanki made the decision to nerf the damage as so balance it, and viking takes the longest to charge, potentially being the strongest OD in the game.2 points

It's easily the best, and quite a lot of fun to use. I'd say pick it up on a sale if possible, because containers may throw endless amounts of paints and other stuff at you. Unless you're in no rush to get it I suppose.2 points

I'm a Thunder main so please forgive me for jumping into this discussion a little later, but I just had to ?. Sledgehammer>SCCM because for whatever reason the damage drop-off isn't calculated correctly. SCCM isn't really viable for super long range (think shooting across the map in Desert), and neither is Sledgehammer, but both of them can perform similarly at Mid range. Sledgehammer's extra 5% quicker reload speed also helps make it useful, and it doesn't tank your damage at closer and medium ranges as badly. On the whole, SCCM has a projectile speed advantage but frankly it's really not that useful in most situations anyways since Thunder is not built as a pocket sniper. Subcaliber rounds are absolute garbage because they take away splash which is immensely useful for a Thunder player. As for adrenaline, I haven't tested it extensively but I feel like the ROF is a bit slow, so I stick to Sledgehammer. SCCM is good, it's just that Sledgehammer is more enjoyable to use and more deadly, especially in close quarters. Thunder isn't weak really, the thing is that as others have said, augments for turrets such as Gauss and Railgun outdo Thunder. I myself have gone into loads of matches where practically everyone has had Thunder protection, and I've still managed to come out on top with sledgehammer because often times kill stealing is something Thunder can do really well. If you see 2 tanks dueling each other when you have Railgun, you pick a target and attack said target, but with Thunder you can damage them both and try to kill both of them and typically this gets you at least a kill if not 2. This is of course in DM. As for team-based modes, you can always try and time your shots to steal kills. I think one of Thunder's biggest advantages with Sledgehammer is the ease in inflicting splash damage. I don't know if this is just a placebo, but it definitely feels like you have slightly more control over your shot. I, for one, typically manage to hit my shots exactly where I am aiming (by this I mean around 40-60 metres in front, as in shooting say a wall to damage an enemy who went down a certain route). Most often players don't even use this ability to it's fullest and that's such a shame. Off late I haven't been using Thunder much because I don't have EMP immunity for Viking and Viking Thunder is by far and away my favourite combo, but yeah it's definitely not weak. Players just see 50% protections and assume that means you cannot do anything, but this just isn't true. There are a lot more broken/powerful augments in the game if that is what you want, but Thunder is by no means weak in absolute terms. In relative terms, it is weak though because I mean EMP Salvo or stun augments are obviously going to be much more powerful.2 points

So you would like to know when we will have more Discounts/Sales on Supplies? If so, then we could maybe have another Ultra Weekend this next Saturday/Sunday, that can give 25% off of Supplies. (We get Ultra Weekends often, so you can get Supplies, etc. off, during these times.) But if not, then Tanki's Birthday will hopefully have them. It can be up to 50% off on Supplies! Tanki's Birthday is on June 4th. So save up your Crystals until then.2 points

You need to do better research. Booster is not +100%. It's +200% and Defender is +150%. Even with a fully upgraded module the Defender loses. No amount of protection? Titan dome will certainly help. And the viking can be killed during that 7 seconds by another tank - it's not 1vs1 dueling you know. If Viking dies after 2 seconds it loses OD retention. Viking only gets 4 ODs per battle with help. With help other ODs happen a lot more than that. As for your supplies... you must hit 2-3-4 the moment you spawn. Try to at exhibit at least some management. Maybe you need to learn to play even a little bit of the battle without that crutch. I stand by my comment that using up supplies does not make an OP item "balanced".2 points

Yeah, I'm sorry but the disgusting legal-hack is gone now. Its time to go back to 2018-2020 Incendiary Band, back when you actually needed to use your skill to win with the Alteration.2 points
-
You seem to forget, that I was simply proving that Incendiary Band is still playable WITHOUT HEAT IMMUNITY. Of course my score will be a bit lower, because I wasn't using a legal-hack (Heat Immunity) and giving my Vulcan unlimited ammunition. Meanwhile, the 6000 GS player above me was using Heat immunity and he has a huge advantage over me, because his Vulcan also has Incendiary band, which basically gives him a Firebird with boosted DPS (yes, Vulcan has higher DPS than Firebird), unlimited range, and unlimited reach to burn enemies. Also, you're saying that an experienced Vulcan player is supposed to perform by getting an easy 28 kills and only 4 deaths in a battle. But you're literally using Heat Immunity as a hack to give your Vulcan unlimited ammo. You said it yourself in your post "The combo is Vulcan + Titan, Adrenaline and HI." I am assuming "HI" stands for Heat Immunity. From 2015-2020, experienced Vulcan players never had the privilege of getting unlimited ammo, because if they did, Vulcan would be too overpowered. Like literally, Vulcan with Heat Immunity (aka, unlimited ammo) gives you no reason at all to use stuff like Twins, because Vulcan has a higher DPS than Twins (yes, I did the math), Infinite Range, and Faster Projectile Speed.2 points

And what comes to your first arqument, defense provided by defender is 100%. Booster gives 100% damage boost. All you need is protection module to save you from "one shot". Well, quess what. Viking od last 7 seconds, and it also boost rate of fire by 100%. No matter what, youre done. No amount of protection, skill or strategy will save you from that (exept, if your opponent is a absolute noob, or you get impossibly lucky, which doesent happen. Ever.)2 points

My Major General account doesn't always get matched up with Legends, but it does happen often (I usually play between 1900 & 0100 UTC) I can fight against some of them (I have 7K+ GS, level 10 drones, and enough supplies), but not the GS 9999 ones or the ones with fully upgraded defender / booster etc. Without more players, matchmaking is just going to get worse2 points
-
Crusaider is one of the most powerful ODs because of the really fast recharge (it was duplicated few updates ago, but it wasn't in the patch notes). Also, this idea mostly consists of fixing bugs instead of buffing it. However, the worst OD in the game for most combos (beside things like AC) is hornet, which was nerfed hardly recently. Also, crus OD is like a 2nd turret now, i doesn't really need a buff, but since i didn't used the hull in higher ranks, i'll may change my mind when i will buy it few weeks later, but i highly doubt that.2 points

Right before leaving the Tanki community, most avid Forumers face the daunting prospect of concocting a leaving topic - a text wall of gratitude and tear-filled farewells. Some players keep it short and succinct, while others use their leaving topic show off their achievements, connections, and proficiency in English. Well, our newest Guest Writer, Initiate, has penned a comprehensive guide on how to create the perfect leaving topic (and then return to write a few more such topics). Get reading!2 points

Thunder is old but gold - a classic turret in Tanki. It's sad that that cancerous turret called Gauss is in such a state, ruining the balance of the mid- and long-ranged turrets. Magnum is also generally unbalanced (apart from Harpoon imo) but not as much as Gauss.1 point
-
Then you have not play Vulcan enough, or you simply ignore one of its biggest disadvantages: The ridiculously slow turret rotation speed. If it is a Twins and Vulcan 1 vs 1, and the Twins decided to play merry go round, which is very common for players who play short range turret, Vulcan is almost guarantee doomed. Yes, Vulcan has very high DPS in theory, but it has no meaning when Vulcan can't hit stuff. BTW, I do hope they rework the Rubberized bullet. It is supposed to be legendary rarity, while it is one of the worst, if not the worst augments available. I mean, what's the last time you see people equipping that thing? Also, "Playable" is very subjective. Yeah by definition, everything in this game is playable. It just the matter of fact that whether you are the one crushing people, or the one being crushed. From two examples you provided, it appears it is more towards the latter. Mister, your killing machine is objectively better than his, by a significant amount and properly your experience in this game as well. I mean, I can perform better than an AP Magnum with 600GS in Siege mode, which is the best mode for that combo in case you have not realized. And I bet most of the 9k GS players can do the same. As for whether IB is still viable, just join a few MM games and count how many players actually using IB. I found 1 for around every 5 matches. The data speaks for themselve, if IB is as "fine" or "good" as you said, then there will defiantly be more people using it, especially we know a lot of people own it already. As for HI, I see no complains from you when people are talking about other immunity augments, I understand HI might be affecting you the most, given your favorite turret is firebird. Yet, I hope you can see a bigger picture and make your comments objectively.1 point
