You cannot get a friend from an existing tanki player. Only new tanki players. Email it to a friend who doesn't play tanki, for example, and then they might become your friend if they create a tanki account under your friend link.

Don't see the enjoyment over Acid Rain: for me, one of the worst. Hurricane: My favorite, is epic. 99/100. I love Pink and Purple, combining together is awesome. Though, if I had anything bad to say about it, it's too similar to starfield.

Like it or not, our beloved Tanki 1.0 is coming to a close. Be it in a month, or in a year, 1.0 will soon be over. To help us remember our good ol' 1.0, I am planning to create a video full of clips of 1.0. This is no small video: I'm hoping it to be over 45 minutes long. But I would only ever be able to make the video with the help of all of the others: a single video full of my own clips would fail. I want everyone to help me. I will compile all of the clips together into the video, but I would need every clip possible. Every last clip. I want everything, but not everything will be used. In fact, if I get the amount of clips I am hoping for, then I will actually only use about half of the clips for the video. The perfect clip will be: -About 20 seconds long, but no longer than 2 minutes. -Involving some turret turning -a battle clip. I will take all of the clips I want of driving about in maps, there is no need for that. -a GOOD battle clip. One-on-one battles aren't interesting, I'm talking about confusing battle scenes where everyone is in the same spot at once. -Using cool paints. Preferably over 1000. Yes, I know some of us don't have them, but it is nicer with better paints. How will I get them from you? To give me the clips, you can: -make them as a download from somewhere, anywhere. I personally would use my wordpress blog, but not all of us would have that. Use mediafire or something and that'll be fine. -Send them by email to zjeggum@gmail.com , with the subject of the email being "TANKI VIDEO" and clearly stating your tanki callsign in the email. -Upload them to youtube and permit me to crop your video to use the bits I want. All of these are equally good and neither is favoured over the other. How do I take the clips? There are numerous programs, such as Hypercam, but I use Camstudio and would recommend it. It is pretty good. How to use it. This is the way to use Camstudio without having any annoying bubbles which look ugly on your video, and no full-screen capturing. 1. Download it from the website linked above. http://camstudio.org 2. Press this: 3. This bubble should come up: 4. Log into your tanki account, but do not join a game. 5. Click "Select" on the Camstudio bubble. Then, making sure that you catch the whole of your screen u use when playing tanki (including rank etc but not taskbar, or browser header), select the whole of that area: 6. Close the "fixed region" window. 7. Instead, open the "Keyboard Shortcuts" window: 8. Make sure the keyboard shortcuts for "Record" and "Stop" are "F8" and "F9". If not, change them to that. 9. Minimize Camstudio. It should no longer be seen in your toolbar except as a small icon in the bottom right. Don't worry. 10. Join a tanki game. Any game. 11. Whilst in the game, press F8. This starts the recording process. 12. When you want to stop recording, press F9. Then save the file. The File save bubble should come up. 13. Send the file to me, by any of the ways mentioned above, and that'll be good. I can then use it. Thanks! nope. I got crystals from referalls (people I linked to tanki) and posted on the forum. Two separate events.

I love 2.0, except for the fact that it is clearly not going to be ready by June the 4th. -The prices are a lot higher: but that is only because crystals' value has deteriorated. You know the amount of cash you have in v2.tankionline.com? That is exactly the same amount as you will have in true 2.0 as far as I can tell. After all, me and hogree got waay different numbers (100,000 and 40,000) and the only explanation for this is the simple fact that because I have more wealth in 1.0, I get more cash in v2.tankionline.com and thus 2.0 I don't see the problem in tanks/weapons (dictator>viking and railgun>thunder etc.) either. Just change your prejudices that dictator is weaker than viking. And then it'll all be ok. -Maps a lot brighter in 1.0? Only if you select night mode for 2.0.... otherwise it's very similar. -Sleeker and Cool in 1.0? Each one to his own, but I think that that is insanely dumb.
