Let me stress, I do not claim the chat mods are awful. I think they do quite a good job, from what I've seen. However, on top of that, what I have found is that mods seem to be unwilling to continue discussions, I've often had a discussion with a mod (it's happened three times) when I've been in the middle of an argument/discussion about a post/ban/lock when the mod has just said "if you have a problem talk to bruce (or most recently, semyon)" and deleted the conversation. What's the point of mods if they aren't willing to continue discussions?

When I was a low rank, if I was ever asked to leave, I would. I consider it one of the rudest things in tanki to not leave when your team asks you to do so (this applies, in my opinion, to all reasonable circumstances, not just being a low rank), especially if you are one of the lowest ranks in the game. In my opinion, not leaving is a serious breach of Tanki etiquette and behaviour which is quite out of order when a team wants to win and you are hampering their ability to do so. The fact that you were eventually thumbed out shows that you were not in the top half of your team's scores, which meant that you were not in a position to get a vast amount of battle fund if your team won and so there's no reason for you not to leave.

My opinion of the staff: [MY OPINION] -The REPORTERS try their best and produce a decent newspaper every month for us. They do a good job. Maybe some of them could work a little bit harder and perhaps the pay is a little bit too high but I think they do a decent job. The quality is occasionally lacking but that is rare and plus you can't expect them to be flawless. -The CYBERSPORT TEAM do nothing. Nought. And apparently they still get paid. I don't think they deserve to be called staff. Hopefully they do something in the Lucky7 tournament, then I could judge upon how good they are doing. -The CONSULTANTS seem to do very little as well. I know from my former experience of being a staff member that the consultants did do a bit behind the scenes, but for the amount they get paid, they do nothing. Also, they don't really seem to be willing to answer questions. Often,when a new player joins the forum their topic is closed with the "use the search feature" button and some of the answers which have been given have recently often been inadequate and almost all the time just plain lazy, with a sentence or two being given to a question asked in earnest, which very rarely actually answers the question. On top of that, how many of the consultants actually answer questions on the forum (which is their primary job, no?)? -The CHAT MODERATORS seem to do a good job. There are rarely any complaints about them and they seem to be efficient. There needs to be more of them, though. Why not lower the age requirement for being a chat moderator? Why can't you do that? One complaint I do have, though - and that is their willingness to listen to feedback. I sent a long PM containing suggestions and ideas through to all the moderators a few months ago and got just four replies back, two of which were from moderators which I would consider my "friends" and who didn't really give any real reply but just said thanks. I don't know whether any of the mods did consider any of my feedback but in reality I was left feeling disheartened about the manner of the mods. -The FORUM MODERATORS are currently, frankly, terrible. (In my opinion). Asides from the pictures we've seen of the way in which they discuss about players on their own skype chat in a way which is disappointing considering they're staff, and the way in which some people have managed to be elected into the position despite having never been active on the forum they got their role or even after having accounts blocked in the past and a long ban history, their actions recently have been poor as well in my opinion. Too often forum threads are closed seemingly for no reason. Threads which are remotely categorized in the scope of a generic thread are closed and linked to that generic thread, which very few forum users actually check. The forum mods never warn users, can't ban (So what're they supposed to do when people are being rude, report it to a chat mod who can't edit the forum?), and rarely seem to take place in forum discussion (not that there is any forum discussion anymore). Most seriously, they seem to do nothing and show no desire to improve the forum (don't create threads to create discussion, don't make jokes, don't have fun on the forum). Also, whenever I've tried to talk to them they seem to have been rude or just ignore you. My opinion. That's what the thread's for, isn't it?

What is "Ottobre"? From my experience, the amount of players hasn't actually changed in the past year. Now is a peak time on a Saturday, there are 68,000 players online. A year ago, the number was very similar. Players do come and go but there has been basically no growth in the past year, which has been a pity. Think about how quickly Tanki went from 10 million to 20 million players - a matter of a few months. From 20 million to 25 million was rapid as well. But since 25 million, there has been only a really slow and steady increase in the total number of players, which at the moment is more or less the same as the players leaving. The number of players playing is stagnant and has been for ages.

29 is the German server. It's the default server whenever you go to the German homepage. English and Russian people can get in but the vast majority of games are German ones as it only shows up on the German homepage.... Sheesh, consultants, learn your stuff.

The only thing I've seen growing in the past few months is the amount of threads made by people leaving/threatening to quit the game.

I don't know about anyone else, but I found this statement a disgrace. How dare you, the newspaper team lie to us in such a blatantly stupid way? Of course you did not find this newspaper in your attic. This is a virtual image, consisting of a few .png files! You definitely did not just "find it in your attic". That's not to mention that it just so happens to be predicting the future with the new reporters, articles and so forth. Your statement is so ridiculously untrue, it's disgraceful and disappointing from what I thought was a high quality organisation. Really disappointed in you, newspaper team, for peddling such blatant untruths.

There's never been a Christmas sale before. In fact, there's never been any christmas celebrations on Tanki before. That's not to say that this year can't be the first, but since no Christmas celebrations have ever happened on Tanki, where does your information come from? Any reliable trustworthy sources or are you just spouting stuff out of your brain?

As has been said, FBI has been made a consultant, kool was a mod, and any number of the reporters have been officially underage.... Nevertheless, how would you "judge" maturity from someone? What if they want to help out with Tanki but have not been on the forum, how do you judge their maturity? What about people who act totally immature but once they get their job they "sober up" (e.g. FBI)? How do you judge maturity anyway, everyone has their own definitions and surely some people will be considered mature whilst others don't? What is mature on a forum anyway? Using correct grammar and spelling? How do you judge how well someone will deal with situations by the way in which they post a few posts on a forum? And what about creating haters by saying "you aren't mature enough" in a reply to an application? In theory, judging "by maturity" sounds great. In practice, it can't really happen. Age as a way to cut off participants may suck, but it's the best method out of a bad lot.

Hopefully this will give Tanki enough income to stop the ridiculous micro-upgrades from happening. Sheesh, just sell adverts already!

I'd like to point out that I as a guy have had loads and loads of hair conversations with guys... hair is not a feminine subject at all, in my opinion. Just so you know, neither are shirt or shoe discussions... especially not shoes, shoes are pretty much a masculine area if any....

And to sort that out then create a rule that leaders have to submit paints for acceptance to the moderators and any explicit material will result in the closing of the clans. Sheesh, some possible objections are really really not thought out.

IMHO, tanki should release stickers!! One potential sticker could be the clan which they're in's logo! Stickers would be so good... I don't understand why we don't yet have stickers. ._.
