Ok all, we seem to have a big problem about people who go inactive. I know some of you go inactive (stop pulsing suddenly) for good reason: Koz, Meat, and sombody all are with this reason. But so many of you who go inactive lack a valid reason, and this just makes us lose keys, as well as not having enough competition. Please stay active! I have some awesome ideas!!!! :P Jet Packs + Nuclear Bombs. Unlocked at Master Corporal Costs 15 crystals Basically, what it does is lift you into the air and then shreds the whole map up into pieces, killing everyone and blowing up the map, except for the flag posts. You still fly but everyone else can't and so it's easy to cap the flags. Or how about: Ice block Costs 5 crystals Unlocked at gefreiter Infinite range, three shots a second, Once you hit someone with it, you get the xp points as if you killed them, but you didn't kill them: you just froze them, so they can't move, can't leave the game, can't shoot, can't do anything except chat. So then you can just run round everyone. Or what about: Destructobiobomb Unlocked at Recruit Comes by default when you start. Turns your tank into a bomb. And nukes the entire map. Killing every enemy. Or another idea: Reputationizer Unlocked at marshal. Costs 100,500 crystals for m0, 201,000 for m1, 402,000 for m2, and 804,000 for m3. "Shoots with the reload of m0 railgun and the damage of m0 smoky" - and that's at m3. At m2 and m1 and m0 it's way worse. Turn speed of m0 shaft at full charge Is a massive turret, way bigger than shaft. Has no potential whatsoever except for reputation status. And yes, I am being sarcastic.

The vast majority of the modern stuff is pathetic, but my favourite music all comes from people in the modern era. So whilst the era itself is pretty bad, my favourite bands all fall in the 2000-2005 category, or even later. So I voted for the 2000-2005 category.

The worst map you have made so far. The big jump is absolutely impossible for anything, unless it is changed. A 70 degree angle or what? And even if you get onto the middle bit, your just going to fall off on the way down: your just going to go straight, there is no way of going down properly. (And don't even mention jumping up and over the top, with that sort of angle going up your going to get nowhere near any inertia to carry you the way) Two gold boxes is always really cheesy, can't you just put one in for goodness sake? And I also dislike how you can do basically nothing without jumping: what is it, a hornet-only map or what? And then there's the issue of space. One-tank only passages all the way round is always atrocious... can't you just have a more player-friendly environment? And let's not go onto the "Alternativa Editor/Google Sketchup" stuff. Intersection was good, high jump was poor, but this? This is absolute rubbish.

Basically, if someone creates a link under your referral, then you get them in your referral list and get 10% they buy and a few when they rank up. ;)

I'm a kid so I wouldn't, however I would give you a warning. When the last adults-only clan was formed, it didn't get a single extra member. Let that be a warning to you. I wish you all luck, but I don't think there are that many english adults out there.

Haha, you really believe that? I doubt that that's true. These people need to make a living, and this is one way they can do it! There are the spaces where there are tips about the game, the billboards... there is quite a bit of space which could easily be used on advertising: I think to make money and thus be able to hire more people and make tanki even better, they should do advertising.

:P As a matter of fact, no. But some tips are no-brainers, others are more my opinion. Meh, I just tried to help ;) It'll probably make no difference, but oh well.

Can you put paragraphs in to make it a bit more readable? It's a massive pain on the eyes to read that big a paragraph.

Does it really matter, Krako? To put it simply, we don't have enough moderators. But imho, it doesn't really matter. The forum is ok as it is, ok, it could be better, but I don't think it's much of a problem. There are some people, yes, who are flooding the forum meaninglessly, and that should be stopped. But to crackdown like you did was just dumb, and we don't need that. The forum mods at the moment, in my opinion, are doing a pretty fine job as much as they can, and the "spam" which you seem to talk about isn't really there. One thing's for sure, it all certainly is not spam. Spam is "Senseless posts about money" (as cablaz once put it), and there isn't much of that. Maybe you should check your dictionary and grammar before posting next time.

I do actually agree, and I'm pretty sure they did that quite a while back, but they seem to have stopped now... there was an announcement on the russian homepage asking for ads at one point, I'm sure.

I first sent this in a PM to nuclearbom, and I noticed it has helped him a lot, so I thought it might help others. Basically, these are the guidelines I gave to myself when I cleared up my act about six months ago (some of you may not think I cleared up my act, so fine. But I think I did.), and I thought it might help others. -Never use TLAs when you want people to take you seriously. Using stuff like "u", "c", "b4", "gr8" and stuff just makes people realise that your not being totally serious in your post. Try not to overuse smileys either, though that isn't such a big issue. -Punctuation needs to be pretty good. Always end a sentence with a ".", even if it is the last sentence in the post. It helps. Even little things like that make a big difference. -Proofread everything. -And then the obvious stuff. Simple things like don't make spelling mistakes, don't flood, don't post ten smileys in a row, don't troll, don't get overtly annoyed on the forum, and stuff like that, are obvious. -Don't tell people "Such-and-such is against the rules", because your not a mod. Simple as that, and if you constantly tell people that stuff, especially saying stuff like "double-posting is against the rules". Really? No, flood is against the rules. I double post sometimes, but I don't flood. If you look through the topic about drugs, Snyper22 triple-and-quadruple-posts, but he isn't flooding. He's just replying to each issue in a separate post: it's fine. Don't go about telling people what is against the rules and what isn't: it's just stupid. -Don't post in the complaints section either. That is against the rules, and whilst it might not result in a ban, it is still breaking the rules and people like me who don't post there because it is against the rules will go "What a noob, posting in the complaints section". -And don't post meaningless stuff. Stuff like "mods lock this", and "Yeah, he should get a week ban", or "Ask koolwalky", or that sort of thing is just plain stupid. -Don't overquote. When quoting, remove the "img" tags all the time, and delete everything except for the message you are quoting: don't quote of quotes, if you get what I mean. I know this isn't perfect, and loads of you could disagree, but I hope this helps! ~skit~
