Lol, k. Personally, I think that the most helpful person on the forum is possibly INubCake. It's easy to help out with simple things, but with a lot harder things, it requires a lot more skill. Koolwalky helps out a vast amount with easy stuff, but INubCake's help is probably the greatest in terms of quality, not quantity.

Red Alert is epic, yes, but the best map in tanki (Magadan) is never played :( How would that be a good thing? It'd be cool and new when it came out, but it's not really a good thing, it's so easy to romp to piles of flags with an ownage team, that is certainly not a good thing.

So do I, but it's hardly as popular as Silence or Island is it now? The best maps (Opposition, Magadan, etc), don't get that many plays, and I don't think this will either.... good map, not many plays. It just isn't that style.

Ok, so now you've totally changed the type of map that it is, making it more like "Valley". I love the concept, but considering how Valley didn't take off, I don't see this one taking off either. The textures are still very poor, but the map layout is cool, albeit maybe not suitable for proper tanki playing.

If that's your attitude to map-making, then how on earth do you want to become a proper map maker? Seriously... if it's "way too complicated", then learn it, or face the facts that you're just going to be stuck on Google-Sketchuping the map on the forum, and getting nothing into actual tanki. MonkeyMagic was one who wasn't content with Google SketchUp, and that got him his own map created... maybe you could follow his example?

Get alternativa editor and do it properly... there is no way in a million years that something that useless could become a map, I could draw better (and I can't draw)... It's a pretty cool idea, but as long as you go on using Google sketchup or something even worse, you have no chance... if you really want to be a map maker, get the alternativa editor and do it properly....

Smoky is pathetic at m1, even at low ranks. Until you've got m2, use firebird, but save up cash to get m2 smoky. Once you get that, that is absolute brutality and you can own until you get to master sergeant, where you'll need m3 smoky.
