Bluelight, I doubt seemefly is talking about "pause self-destruct" but "cancel self-destruct". They are different things. If it is "Pause" then yes, bad idea, it can be abused. But if it is "Cancel" so that when you continue you start your countdown again, then it is fine. I like this idea :thumbup:

Do we get notifications of the russian contests? Nope. Just the same, the russians don't get notification of us. I think tanki are trying to keep the two sides separate competition-wise, this is an only-english comp (although russians would be allowed to join if they see it)

I'm in the lead this round, but my next two pics aren't fantastic... I was hoping to get such a big lead this round that even doing average in the next two would be enough... but it doesn't look like that's going to happen, fair play to all ;)

Look, the fact is that by the end of the voting we will have at least 300, 400 votes on the competition. Accounts need to be above gefreiter to vote (or to use the forum for that matter), so to create loads and loads of accounts will take a lot of time (getting to gefreiter is a half-an-hour task at best). I doubt that anyone will put enough effort into something that makes their conscience feel bad and will not make too much difference....? However, anyone purposely making accounts for this is just stupid and wrong, especially if you do it too much.

By the way, there are going to be three higher ranks coming in 2.0, in case you hadn't heard: Something I've forgotten, Field Marshal, and Generallissimo. Of course, these ranks aren't normal army ranks, but I think these are needed. Well, I'm English....

To be honest, I'm disappointed in the amount of entries. Of course, seven entrants gives me a great chance of winning, but at the same time... tanki give us a great competition and we repay it with this? :( But still, good luck to all who entered ;)
