    Tournament

    Nice bump...
  2. After reading the "what you like" section, it was obvious that the only that you actually liked was richochet and that nobody would convince you otherwise. Forgive me if I am wrong, but considering how you said "I don't like long-range (Thunder)"; "I don't like super close range either (Freeze)"; "I like the idea of getting a gun to bounce (Richochet)" then it is clear you prefer ricochet to the other two, and thus you should choose richochet. Of course, I am working on assumptions and could be very wrong, and if so just tell me. But the way I see it, you'll enjoy yourself far more with ricochet, so get it, even though imo it is the worst of the three options.
  3. Thanks, let's see a more up to date pic of you hotwheel ;)

    My clan.

That would be a forum glitch. The forum glitches often, hiding threads. If you want to find one particular thread, use the search feature and you will find it.

More English players on Tanki Online

One thing to help would be to make the game more newbie-friendly. A lot of my friends have given up, because they got bored by the lack of exiting graphics/lack of weapons/lack of cool paints at newbie ranks. I know that you want rewards for higher ranks, but I would suggest: -Maps like Polygon, Ping-Pong, Fort Knox II, Massacre, and Fort Knox III going back to the newbie ranks like they once were. When you moved Polygon to Recruit ranks, I know for a fact that you probably won people over and kept them playing tanki by the fact that they realised there was better map props out there. If you get the Iran props at the lowest ranks, then loads of newbies will stay, I'm sure. -Have an option of paints to start with. How about being able to choose to start with Red, Green, or Blue paint? And the added option of "Black" and "White" for five crystals, still at recruit. -Again, an option of weapons and tanks will help newbies to enjoy it. Nerf Titan and Twins somewhat, and have the option of three weapons/tanks to start with. It will be a hard thing to change, I know, but the fact is that it will win people over in the long-term. -And then make two/three more weapons unlocked by Staff Sergeant. Tanks aren't so important, but having a wide variety of weapons will make newbies enjoy the game more. I know this will be hard, but again it will be worth it. -Is immediate playing such a great thing? Most other games have a sort of tutorial beforehand. Maybe being able to get a couple of kills against computerised tanks and getting your garage going (with the suggestions above) before going into battles against others would be better. -More detailed controls. I'm not sure if this has now changed with the new loading symbols, but having pop-ups on the screen saying things like "Press Z and X to turn turret" and "Press Page Up and Page Down to change camera view" will seriously help newbies to grasp the controls. One of my friends had so little idea of the controls that he spent his first ten minutes playing trying to get his character out of his tank. Not surprisingly, he didn't even rank up to Private. -Focus more on Newbies with updates. The existing players will not like it, but the fact is that you will get more players by being more newbie-friendly. For a fact I know that I was extremely close to giving up tanki before Staff Sergeant. After that, far less people leave tanki. If you manage to make tanki so that newbies stay to staff sergeant, then I am sure they will stay all the way up to the higher ranks. -It would help to make loading faster for newbies, but I'm not sure how possible that is. Of course, these are only my opinions and I do not expect these all to be implemented into tanki. But these are things I would do to make tanki more newbie-friendly than it is at the moment. ~skitee~
  6. 1. Russian contest was only for females, results: http://forum.tankionline.com/posts/list/45430.page 2. Explain... 3. Doubt it. 4. Of course.
  7. I'll answer, assuming this is the same as the russian version of the competition. Basically, it is a picture of you in real life with one piece of your clothing resembling the paint in question. The words "Mister Tanki Online" must be somewhere in the picture, possibly written on you somewhere. The most handsome, original, and on-topic (or whatever you say) wins.

    New forum layout?

First problem is a glitch. Second problem is because one mod/admin probably did not think it was FAQ.

    [Forum Game] The Translator Game

What did you say? Yes, I translated it without using a translator. 你喜歡火車? And yes, I know what that means without a translator and I would be able to write it but, again, I can't be bothered to change toe language of my computer.
  10. I have no twins... :P And the girls wanted the nail polish off so I took it off... :P He did:

    Custom made paints!

So.... In 7 hours you get 70 crystals, then in the next 3 hours you get 6 times that amount in half the time. Interesting.
  12. Thanks so much for this. He seems to be a very nice man, and I am glad that he has joined you. It will certainly help to bridge the gap between English and Russians.
  13. Firstly: I'm not sure if there are that many girls on the english side of tanki, so I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't many entrants. Secondly, good luck to all who enter! :)

    Tournament Poll!

Are isida's allowed to heal? How will you make sure nobody will cheat by leaving their flag after dying or not pressing p? I voted "yes" because these questions don't make all that much of a difference. But of course dates times etc have to be fine for me to participate.

Ok, didn't know. You have weird tastes though :P

    Custom made paints!

    So 7 hours = 70 crystals 10 hours = 500 crystals. Seriously?
  17. Good luck with that my friend.

    [Forum Game] The Translator Game

The unfortunate thing about this forum game is that it is stupidly easy to cheat. Google Translate automatically detects your language when you post it. You were italian, and your text was "Hello friends! It's nice to see you all!" For the sake of the Forum Game, I will continue, but this is easily able to be cheated and involves no skill whatsoever: "Wo hao xi huan che chao ke li"

    New Loading Stuff.

Because blue isida looks nicer than yellow isida on that background. And they wanted it to look as impressive as possible, not as accurate as possible.

    Chat moderators' paint

Of course that is the case. But why give a pint that they alone can have if the pint tastes bad? Yes, it is good that they get this so that they get respect, but why don't they just get given a nice pint?
